Wir haben 8 Tage im Antigoni Hotel verbracht. Personal sehr nett!!!! Sauberkeit der Zimmer furchtbar. Nur beim check in waren sie sauber. Sehr veraltet alles - eine Renovierung wäre schon nötig. Im Badezimmer nur 3 kleine Seifen und 1 Duschgel. Keine weiteren Hygieneartikel. Wir hatten HP - Frühstück und Abendessen war gut und ausreichend! Liebe Grüsse an die tollen Rezeptionsmitarbeiter - vorallem Frau Phota!

Hotel Antigoni, Protaras, Cyprus

The hotel was very nice and clean and VERY close to the main street in Protaras. We booked a room with double bed but had to change to a room with two single beds since the double bed was impossible to sleep in. It was as lying on the floor, hard as stone!!! But hotel was very helpful and understanding and changed without any delay. The room with view over pool, centre town and sea was very nice. The noice from the pool was zero, however count on hearing music and such from the bars on the main street. Not disturbing though if balcony door is closed. The room was ok standard and all romms have balconies. Clean and towels changed every day. With half pension we received breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was very nice with all you could ask for on the buffé, however dinner buffé was not top class but still eatable food. 3 different dishes with either potatoe rice or pasta, some vegetables and 3 different desserts and ice cream. They are very afraid of spices in the food however on the hotels and it takes some pepper and salt to make it ok. Ice cream was lovely!!! The personel was very kind ad helpful and fast to swipe away plates that were empty. Drink was to be paid for and a 75 cl bottle of still water cost approx EUR 2,20!!!! The pool was very nice, clean and calm. In October when we visited the main audience was english people +55 yrs. So very calm. It was a 200 m walk from main street and about 500 m to the beach. We went for a trip very early one morning and the hotel was kind to make a small "picnic" bag that replaced the breakfast, however two slices of white bread with a slice of cheese and some fruit per person was not much to fill the stomach. But still it was something. We do recommend this hotel for people that enjoy lying by a very nice pool, having centre nearby and wants a calm vacation without a noisy surrounding. To be sure of avoiding the noice be sure to book a room on pool side since other side is main road through Protaras with fairly much traffic both day and night. Summary: very nice hotel, nice personel, ok food, hard beds and wonderful view. We recommend it!

Un bon compromis

A l'arrivée, accueil rapide, le veilleur de nuit est super sympa. J'irai rapidement sur les points négatif : -L'"entertainement" a savoir les distractions sont nulles, j'y suis pas allé pour, donc pas de problème pour moi, mais les fans de club med doivent le savoir! -Les clefs de l'hotel sont uniques, et fournissent le courant de la chambre, donc si votre comparse part avec malencontreusement, vous pourrez vous faire ouvrir la chambre par un employé blasé, mais vous serez dans le noir. -La grande et belle piscine est plus une petite pataugeoire qu'une piscine, 1.65m de profondeur max, sur un petit 1/5e, sinon c est 1m en moyenne, donc ideal parents/jeunes enfants Pour le reste, propreté, confort, accueil, nourriture, c'est un bon compromis. Un bémol sur le service du midi, c'est du snack pas très qualitatif. Sinon pour le buffet du soir, c'est largement appréciable, sauf si vous etes fans de dessert, les anglo-saxons (tres grande majorité de la clientele) ayant des gouts differents des notres :)
