Nice hotel inside a shopping mall.
A hotel situated inside a shopping mall is a first for me. Once I had found my way around I enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to various shops and cafes. Parking on first floor is limited but plenty of space on the upper floor.
Room was bigger than expected with kettle and tea/coffee.

Conveniently located, pleasant and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Bedrooms don't seem to be made up nowadays, coffees etc not replenished so overall a high price for little more than an AirBNB.

This hotel was the most expensive in Lappeenranta. However, the room was terribly small and had nothing but a bed. The distance from the lobby to the room was 200m with a narrow aisle. I chose this hotel because of the sauna, but it was open only at night. It is genuinely a 1~1.5-star rating hotel. The hotel management should think again how it costs over 220Euro per night

We booked a room one day in advance for one night only and found ourselves in a room properly designed for wheelchair persons, got plenty of space but looked like a hospital.
Fair enough, we are 8o++ but still play golf and did not find ”at home”.

Bigger Queen size bed expected
The prize for one night stay was more than expected, although this was the case all around in Lappeenranta that weekend. The room was new and clean but the size of the double bed was a disappointment for our family of three members. Unfortunately, air conditioning was not able to cool the room effectively. However, the breakfast was tasty and versatile.
