Other than needing a little updating and some carpet it was well worth the money at the $100 and under price range I was just there on business so I did not get to see the whole place but the pictures look nice but it was a lot nicer than the place I used to stay at when I went up in that area for business they will definitely have my future business. Thank you

We arrived an hour before check-in time and were able to get into our room, which was greatly appreciated as we had to get ready for a family event.

One night stay just to sleep. The property is aging and somewhat worn but kept in decent condition. The girl who checked me in was pleasant. The room TV remote was missing and she was quick in providing me with a replacement. Room itself (I reserved one with one queen bed) was on the smaller size but had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a sliding pocket door, which was fine but kind of weird, probably to save on space. The hallways had an odd fruit scented spray smell, I think used to cover the vague smoke smell of the days when there were smoking rooms. Continental breakfast was fairly sparse with a couple of cereals, bagels, toast, yogurt and a couple of warmers with scrambled eggs and a few sausage links, coffee and juice. Breakfast area was small and a little awkward. Overall, was a decent stay for the price point of a little under a hundred dollars all in. I would stay here again for the price, just nothing remotely fancy about it.

The bed and pillows were as bumpy as the roads, minimal comfort. I was expecting better from the positive reviews, however we were disappointed.

Super clean and amazing smelling room, staff were very kind and helpful, close by food and grocery options, breakfast was good but would be better with cream cheese for the bagels ;) Parking easy and plentiful, will be back if and when Mr Strings returns to Ionia Fairgrounds for sure

Staff were great. There is some evidence of needing touch up paint and some deep clean in the shower. I needed lotion but there wasn’t any.

Showed up less than 10 mins early to start the check in process, was told over the phone that early check would likely be an option depending on reservations that I could come in as early at 1:30pm. Called prior to leaving and early check in was not available at all, no problem. Upon arrival at 2:54 pm I go to the desk and the worker at the counter turned us around and said we must wait til 3pm. I understand the principle of check in is at 3pm but a few minutes difference and the rude attitude of the employee was beyond irritating. Just for the check in process to take longer than the 6 min wait we sat and watched her do nothing.

Old and outdated. We stayed 2 nights, they changed towels but didn’t clean the room other than that. Walls had stains running down them. Smelled like sewer in lobby.

The room needs a little bit of an update, but overall wasn't too bad. The only thing we didn't like was the bed, it seemed worn out and kind of sunk in. Other than that, our stay was nice

We gagged on the marijuana smell we encountered almost daily. We think some of the staff was reeking of it. Could not be positive, but we smelled it after the cleaning crew came on shift each morning.
