Nice and helpful staff! The room is clean, and the temperature was perfect upon entering the room too. I only took a star away because the shower head didn't work properly, and you got a light trickle but not really a spray out of it.

This facility was dirty. I changed to another room which was also dirty. Everything smelled like marijuana and it's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. I notified the staff desk person and she was very helpful and canceled my reservation. Please stay away from this place. It also seemed unsafe. There were a lot of people walking around outside that didn't seem to belong there

It was just fine for a few nights! Definitely needs some updating, but again, it was fine for the price! Bathroom door wouldn't close because of toilet placement. But overall, clean enough and it quiet! Close to lots of restaurants and even a few activities! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Definitely will be back when I'm in town!

The room was clean, the person at the registration area was very friendly and the was cleaner than most other red roof inns I've stayed in.

The roof was fine but everything else was not.

The photos do reflect the room and the room was perfectly fine. The front desk gal was awesome and helpful. However, I did not feel safe at all. Solo travelers be aware that the area is fine but as soon as you pull in, it is completely different. I almost went back to the front desk to ask for my money back and look for a different accommodation. I normally do not stay at Red Roof because of past experiences but I wanted to give this a try because the price was great. However, my safety is more important than the price.

Good Stay. Good Bed and easy access to the hotel made for an easy stay. Quiet area, which you would expect, its Lansing. Stopped off at a local laundromat the next morning before hitting the road. Made contact with some locals, met the laundry owners , had breakfast, enjoyed the lazy morning. A Big THANK YOU to the laundry owner for opening on-time on Sunday. Good impression of Lansing, MI.

Room was not ready when I checked in but the woman at the front counter was very apologetic about that. I understood and was told my room would be ready in an hour. That wasn't a big deal. Room was fairly clean. I had my two dogs with me and they found a couple of things probably underneath the bed but they aredogs and they snoop! The bed was comfortable The room was spacious. The area I felt safe in. Parking lot was well lit. Check out was easy.

We booked the room based on the pictures posted . The room was nothing like the pictures nor was the surrounding areas. Upon arrival it was obvious people were living here . There are numerous grills chained to the light poles surrounding the property . Parking lot had trash in it and many people were out smoking pot. We still proceeded to check in because we were visiting our son at college and it was parents weekend so we weren’t able to find another hotel under $500 a night . The check-in staff was nice and gave us our check in key . The minute we opened the door it reeked of weed . It was obvious someone had been smoking in that room and had smoked a lot . We returned to the front desk and asked for another room or a refund . Because we booked through Expedia they said we wouldn’t be able to get a refund right away and that we would have to submit a request and hope that they accept it. We decided to try the other room because we didn’t want to possibly have to eat the $200 we had spent on the room . New room smelled better and was semi clean. Shower didn’t work like it should . Water barely trickled out. There were dogs above us and beside us that barked most of the night everytime they heard a door close or a person outside. The ONLY bright spot about our stay was after visiting our son on campus we came back and hung out at Horrocks Farmers Market. Would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone and will obviously never stay here again
Dirt that is on these pipes was on the baseboards and in the corners of the room.
Light didn’t work
No counter. This felt like a bathroom you’d see in a prison .
4 grills chained all about the property being used by people that were obviously living there .. Looked like 2 cars had homeless people living on the property .

The shower had really good water pressure. Receptionist came up to show us proper way to get lights above sink to come on (yes, it shouldn't be that difficult but I had problem :() and also delivered a hair dryer to us. Lobby was very inviting and cozy. The facility could use some updating (chips in tub, few holes in bedspread, side chair has (2) huge areas in arms that are torn away). Dirt seems to have accumulated in corner behind the bathroom door. Nice flooring. For the price; not bad. Location very good. Shopping, restaurants nearby including sit down and fast food.

There was feces stuck to the toilet bowl. Not cleaned with a brush apparently. Water drains slow in the tub, Tv Cable system is outdated, would not work with the guide feature on the remote. Had to go channel to channel. Remote missing back battery cover. Bed was old and springy, one side of the bed caved in . Lights wouldn't come on for a few minutes to get going in bathroom area. Desk chair stuck in the very lowest position. One pillow felt like plastic. You could crumple it and hear it crackle. The front desk lady was very polite and helpful. I did not see any breakfast. Overall, if they could fix those issues, I would be happy to stay again.
