Great accommodations. Location for MSU is excellent. Price was great, bed very comfortable, clean, spacious room, nice amenities , friendly staff. The only negative was the water pressure of the shower was not very strong.

Stay at hotel was good. There are some restaurants and other services nearby and a few other hotels. Hotel has good quality gym a few machine and dumbells and treadmills.

I stayed here while in town to watch some hockey at Michigan State University which is about a 15 minute drive from here. The comparable hotels near MSU are significantly more expensive making the short drive worth it. This hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping and seems to be in the newer end of East Lansing whereas MSU is in the older downtown area but both have their own character and are nice.

Do yourself a favor and pick this hotel

We loved our stay! The hotel was so clean and had a refreshing smell throughout. I have never been in such a quiet hotel and we stayed on Saturday! We were surprised with an upgrade to a suite and it was perfect! For the coffee lovers, there is a Starbucks right inside. For snack lovers the hotel has a mini area full of reasonably priced yummies. If I have to pick a downfall I guess it would no pool.

Worth It

Very well kept and modernized. A few aesthetic issues such as wall cracks and peeling in the bathroom. Under the couch wasn't cleaned at all. The fridge is ridiculously small as well. Other than that, no real issues we enjoyed our stay here. It's also in a great location for restaurants. Not too much else in the immediate area. I would definitely stay again.

Do not visit the bar! The bartender has zero knowledge of how to make drinks. Worst drink I have had in 40 years. Also poured doubles and top shelf without asking just to increase bill. I ordered food and the bartender was also the cook. She is an excellent cook! She needs to stay away from the bar!!!

The service was very slow at the Bistro, but the people were friendly. Flowers in the flower beds in the courtyard would have been very nice. There were a few weeds and bare dirt. The room was very nice. I would have liked for there to be a tea bag or two in the room for my morning tea.

Free parking is nice, safe neighborhood and the outside patio is lovely. Extras (water, coffee, adult beverages, etc.) were pricey, but the room itself was not - so on balance, a good value for a clean room, Starbucks quality food and beverage, and safe surroundings. I highly recommend the deli across the street, really good food.
