Very spacious, warm and clean room, but disappointed to be given an accessible annex room rather than main building, especially as the place was far from full. Great breakfast, advertised as continental, but bacon and sausage to make butties was a good addition to the continental expectation, and a great coffee machine too. Made very welcome by the locals in the car and would stay again.

Lovely stay in a great location

Our room was a good size with a big bathroom and a comfy bed. The staff were super friendly and the bar and restaurant were nice, with great food. Had a lovely stay and plan on going back.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast in thr morning was simple but perfect to enjoy before heading out on a hike Would definitely stay again!

We would stay in this hotel again. Good location for some excellent local walks. Good parking, nice bar, continental breakfast very good, liked the bacon sandwich! Quiet village setting.

Great pub accommodation

Nice proper pub with rooms. Evening meals we had were excellent and clearly home cooked rather than frozen/factory produced. Staff were all great and the pub has a good selection of beers and some friendly & colourful locals. Would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay to be able to walk into the Dales. It was a beautiful setting and very good parking. The restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced with fantastic staff! Shower was excellent especially after a damp walk into the hills! Would definitely stay here again. Note, while there is not an electric car charging port, there is one very close by.

Very friendly and accommodating and they love dogs. Clapham village is very pretty - the location is beautiful. The cave is definately worth a visit. Good size family room. Nice continental breakfast.

Excellent hotel choice with a great location and ready advice to explore The Yorkshire Dales we even booked a lovely 4 poster room as a birthday treat, outstanding service provided throughout our stay. Restaurant food was amazing for both dinner & breakfast, which was much better than we expected for a continental breakfast having additional Bacon & Sausage on Toast on offer surprisingly, and set us up for the day ahead.
