"Very quiet and peaceful in which the caravan is situated, 20mins drive to the nearest supermarket, well equipped kitchen, caravan was lovely the only downside was the cleaning especially in the shower as it was full of cobwebs, spiders and flies, also came to use the oven and there was a dirty oily tray in there, the main areas were clean like worktops etc, I did have a really pleasant stay I canâ€™t fault that, and I did clean everything Iâ€™ve mentioned, I just donâ€™t think enough people stay...

"We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...

"Really nice characterful cottage in a great location for hiking from the door with parking for two cars. Easy access to Braithwaite and the facilities and walks from there , and also to Keswick town centre. Would benefit from a more extensive ‘welcome pack’ and other basics you often get in cottages these days ( fresh milk , kitchen roll , oils and condiments etc ) but overall would definitely recommend the cottage ."

"We stayed in one of the family rooms, capable of sleeping six (One King, Four Singles) which was fantastic to find as a family of five. The room itself was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and biscuits in the room, plenty of towels etc. We used the pool and spa which were well maintained and wasn't too busy at the time we were there. We had a look at the restaurant menu for dinner which was fine for adults, but wasn't much in the way of children's options, there was Pizza available but that was the only thing our fussy kids would have had."

"Great bar food and evening spent here after a long day walking. Even had sky sports. Single Room was good for what I wanted and bathroom facilities Good. Only down was noisy floor on the corridor outside rooms on first floor which creaked with every person walking the floor. Early morning or late evening. Needs a bit of work. Saying that it was good value for money amd would use the place again as access to Wast Water and area"

All the staff were excellent and very dog friendly. My only complaint was although I had asked for a ground floor room due to problems with my knees this was not available and I had to manage the stairs which was difficult. On the whole à very pleasant break"
