"After one look at the room, we opted not to stay there. They also did not have a room that I had requested. The room reeked of smoke and the place was in disrepair and dirty. I was happy that the owner did give me a full refund."

"I would like to shout out the photographer of this property. They need a raise! The place was very run down. It's in a rough area, neighborhoods didn't feel inviting. We could hear traffic from our room, and the train went by several times. The room was described as "able to sleep 4." Well, that was simply impossible. There was 1 king size bed. No couch. No futon. Just a large chair that was impossible to sleep in as a full-size adult. The tv barely worked and then didn't at all. It was a very tight fit. The bathroom was pretty nice, but the water pressure wasn't the greatest. They did have a pool and laundry area, which could be appealing to some travelers, but I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone and I won't return either."

"My husband and I arrived early to the hotel after previously calling ahead and being told that early check-in would be okay. We had been traveling and were very tired, so we were hoping to get settled in. However, when we arrived, the front desk staff immediately said, “You’re early, we don’t have any rooms ready, you’ll have to wait.” We understood that rooms may not always be ready early, but the way it was communicated felt dismissive. We waited in the lobby for about two hours with no updates from the front desk. The same employee who initially spoke to us left when her shift ended without ever checking on the status of our room. When the next shift came in, the two employees at the desk were extremely unprofessional — loudly discussing their personal lives and using profanity while guests were sitting in the lobby. After waiting longer, we had to approach the desk ourselves to ask for an update and were told to wait another 45 minutes. When we finally got into our room, it was disappointing. There were no cookware or utensils, despite the room setup suggesting they should be available. There were no extra towels, the hallways had trash and dirty bedding sitting out, and the elevator stopped working during our stay. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and appears newly built, but the overall experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. You can also clearly hear other guests’ TVs and noise through the walls, which made it hard to relax."

"I check in late. When I enter the room, the room wasn't clean beds are not wash towels are in the floor, toilets is awful. Garbage from previous guest are still there with unpleasant smell "

"The staff was exceptional! We had an issue in our room and Betty moved us right away! The place is clean, bed very comfortable and very quiet! We will definitely stay there again!"

"What a cute & cozy little bungalow! We just needed a pit stop on a long road trip and wanted to check WPB out in the day time, so booked this retro style mother-in-law suite. It had everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The location was in a residential area close to where we wanted to visit. Parking was easy, finding our bungalow was easy and it smelled citrus clean as soon as we walked in. The shower had good pressure and like others advised, the bed & pillows were comfy. The TV is mounted in a weird spot over the bed, but it did wok as expected with Roku. The mini fridge kept our bottled waters cold and we the owner provided clear instructions for everything listed above. She responded to questions quickly before our stay and during our stay and provided clean towels! It was such a great value and we would stay again if we every return to WPB."
