Lakehouse 300 ‘ shore with 40' Dock, 10 Kayaks & kayak launch, boats & Fire pit
10/10 Excellent
"Camp Westwood had it all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and Laconia had a super grocery nearby! The on-site owners were so accommodating and helpful, we could not have asked for more! We thank them for a memorable stay. "
"Steele Hill is absolutely beautiful! My room was clean and comfy and reasonably priced for a resort! I will say check in can be confusing as they said I was staying in the main building. The map only says east building, west building etc. You would think the brightly lit building on the hill would be the main building, but that’s incorrect. A sign outside the buildings would be really helpful, especially for people arriving after dark like I did!
Also, the hotel is located on the top of a hill, about 5 miles from the closest town, and only has one restaurant/option for food. My complaint is that I booked the hotel with specific plans to eat at the restaurant for dinner and everything I saw said it would be open- it was not. This isn’t cosmic, but definitely inconvenient when it’s the only thing close by and I’d specifically booked the hotel knowing I was going to have a late day and planning the restaurant around that.
Overall the resort was absolutely stunning and the view cannot be beat!! Highly recommend staying here for a lovely getaway!"

"The house was very spacious and newly renovated. It was. Conveniently located 15-20 minutes from the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which was the reason for our trip. I’d love to explore more of the area on another trip. "
"The hotel is outdated, but very clean rooms, I did not check bathtub, but toilet and sink area we're fine. I care more about cleanliness of floor and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a single bed room, we requested a refrigerator for diabetic supplies and it was fine. No microwave in room, but microwaves at end of hallway. Breakfast was fine sausage egg cheese croissant that I heated in microwave, and bagels and toaster and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee, orange juice and milk. Staff was kind and helpful when asked for anything. I will definitely come back and save money. Thank you so much!!!"
