The host, Paulo & his family run a beautiful, historic (yet modern) boutique full-service hotel experience. Room & bathroom are incredibly well appointed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was defiantly service with a smile. "Avoid this place at all costs! These are the rudest and most inconsiderate people you could ever encounter. My train from Venice was delayed for an hour, which caused me to miss my connection in Florence and arrive two hours late. Even though I informed them about the situation and the trouble we were going through, they called me disrespectful, canceled my reservation as a “no-show,” and charged me a penalty — leaving me, my husband, and my son stranded in the middle of nowhere without a place to stay for the night. I am deeply grateful to the kind local people who helped us, but I would never recommend anyone to stay here. I’ll make sure my experience is shared everywhere tourists might look, so no one else goes through this nightmare. I felt robbed and mistreated — especially shocking in a region known for its warmth and hospitality. "

"This was a location and villa with private pool of our dreams. It has everything you can want for a traditional Italian experience. The views are beautiful day and night. The villa is spacious inside and out set on a large picturesque plot. If you want rustic, quiet and authentic, this is the place for you. Situated only a few minutes drive from San Feliciano with plenty of activities and restaurants for a typically quiet holiday. The host and his two golden retrievers live upstairs. If you love dogs they will make your holiday complete. We took our dog and she had unlimited access to the land and property. Massimo is a quiet,Kind and private person. He is totally willing to offer help and guidance if you ask him. However If you just want to make the best of everything available and do your own thing he is totally respectful. We would recommend the villa and location to anyone wanting a true experience of Italy. "

"Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns. "
