"My room was great but my experience in the restaurant was not. The servers appeared to be stressed and it wasn’t that busy. Took awhile to get seated and to actually get served. The restaurant was a beautiful atmosphere, thought the service would match the setting. Food was mediocre for the price. The coffee was terrible and not sure why we had to pay for it when it was free at the front. It was an interesting visit. I would stay again but would eat elsewhere. "
"I was welcomed like a friend the moment I walked through the door, unpretentious and genuinely warm. The house is charming and full of history. It's a Victorian home built by a shipbuilder in the 1800s. There's something pretty special about staying somewhere with that much history. The comfort matched the character of the place, and the homemade baking alone is worth the visit. When I had to leave before the crack of dawn to catch a flight, there was a box waiting for me with a packed breakfast that prompted strangers in the airport to ask me where it came from. Mahone Bay is a gem of a town, and this place sits right in the heart of it. Honestly, I'd go back without a second thought."

"We had the most beautiful moments in this little tucked away cabin. It was magical to get a away child free and also be able to bring our dog. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by a staff member and a beautifully done ip welcone basket full of goodie. We especially loved the ambient lighting (battery candles through the shelving and patio string lighting). The hot tub was so nice (only complaint is that it could be a bit hotter for our liking). We were so pleasantly suprised that the tiny kitchenette was so well equipped!
We hope to return some day :) "
"Parking was easy, staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn’t all that good. No water at breakfast. For the price there should be a pool in comparison to others the same price. All in all a great east stay. The house cleaner used too much peppermint smell before we got to our room. "
"The host is great, the place is very clean and the big thing for me is that the BBQ is still out, there are a couple of great butcher shops in the area so staying at a place that has a BBQ all winter is a great draw for me."
