This home is cozy and well equipped. The location is great and we had no issues getting in, out, and figuring out how to do what we needed. Hope to be back again sometime!
We had a wonderful stay. The property is in a great location with access to a hiking trail right outside. The home was comfortable and had everything we wanted. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here during the ski season and it was fantastic. The place has lots of toys and helpful things for kids (potty, high chair) and for pets as well. Place is clean and modern and totally equipped. Would love to be back
We had a great time over the long weekend in this comfortable and clean property. It was just for my spouse and two toddlers so we had ample space. A cozy living room with a stove to make s’mores and a backyard full of snow to play and build a snowman. The house is very close to Donner and Truckee so it was a great location too. Highly recommended.
After a busy summer we were looking for a quick getaway for our family of 5 where we could all relax and connect as a family before my 3 boys went back to school. This was a great location for our family including our Labrador Baylor. The home was clean, cozy, stocked well and the property manager was quick to respond.
We will definitely come back!!
We had a wonderful 4-night stay in Tahoe Donner. House was big enough for two 4-member families dogs - that include 4 teenagers in the room with the double set of bunk beds. We didn't get a chance to use them, but guest passes were provided - a nice touch. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, appliances, and spices. No complaints whatsoever.
We loved the property. Traveled with two teenagers and one toddler and it was perfect.
Having the kitchen is super convenient and we loved spending the evening watching the sunset on the front deck. Beds were comfy. Unit was super clean. Loved the cozy feeling that the cabin gave off.
Property manager is super responsive and great to work with.
We really love the area in general. Close walking distance to the wetland reserve, rec center access is awesome and nearby Pizza On The Hill is a must if you have toddlers.
Downtown Truckee and some of the local spots on Donner Pass Ave are worth visiting.
Definitely will keep this property in mind for our return.
Oustanding experience all around. We come to Truckee annually to celebrate our daughter's birthday and we feel very fortunate we found this property available. The property is in great condition, very well equipped, and very, very clean. I am always concerned about my allergies flaring up when staying at pet friendly properties but in this property I experienced zero symptoms and slept very well. All in my party share the high opinion of the property. The location is also excellent with easy access to Trout Creek trail which goes to downtown Truckee. Finally, my hat's off to the management company for their proactive and friedly communications, and for their responsiveness. Highly recommend this property and we'll be back!
Hosted my daughter, her husband, and their 3 young kids for a long weekend of snowplay at Soda Springs and Tahoe Donner. This house was perfect and checked all of our boxes. The house was very well furnished without being overly fussy. The beds were comfortable, the kids loved the bunkroom with the generously stocked toy/game/book nook, the living and dining room were great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The check-in was very easy, and there was no lengthy list of annoying tasks to be performed before checkout. It snowed heavily on Saturday, so the kids had fun playing out in the yard in their snow outfits and then hunkering down inside near the wood burning stove. The snow removal service was Johnny-on-the-spot and had the driveway cleared by the time we got up un Sunday morning. Definitely on our list for future trips.
We had a fantastic stay! The home was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious, and really well-equipped. Everything was comfortable and welcoming, and communication was easy throughout. We’d absolutely stay here again!
We had a great stay! Home was clean, everything was set up nicely for family time. Kids bedroom was super- there were games/books/toys plus little kid amenities (pack and play, high chair, step stool, potty seat, dishes etc). Access off the primary bedroom to the green belt was great. Having all the living area on one level is awesome. Kitchen is well-appointed and an open concept with the dining/living area, plus deck access to the front. Would stay here again for sure!
Check in and check out easy and efficient. The kitchen was equipped with every tool and appliance we could possibly need to cook meals including quality sharp knives. Plenty dishes, glasses, mugs and serving ware so we only had to run dishwasher twice. Home is clean and well appointed with comfortable furniture and beds. Only issue is street noise- the street is busy with cars and construction trucks so sitting on the deck which faces the street was not a peaceful experience. Overall great home which enhanced our family get together.
We were celebrating a family reunion in Truckee and this house was the perfect base point for my little family. We had grandparents, parents, and a 4 year old. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for the 5 of us. Everything was very clean and organized. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans as well. Easy drive to Tahoe lake and down town Truckee. Only difficulty we had was navigating the internet tv.

Pros and Cons
PROS: clean, roomy for small group, convenient location to downtown Truckee.
CONS: front door could not be accessed (battery dead). Necessary assistance from management; finally entered via garage. Stairs to front door and stairs in garage to first floor are extremely steep and long. A significant consideration (and potentially dangerous) for elderly, handicapped, or small children. Transferring luggage from ground to first level takes an effort. And the reverse to leave property.
Driveway is steep grade with no level parking, other than in garage. Very carefully able to drive (large) Acura MDX SUV through narrow opening. No instructions for TV!! Management sent assistance; individual also struggled; a trial and error process.
Property appears much better in photos, especially bathrooms. Primary shower is quite small and dated. Bathrooms appear not upgraded at all or in recent years. Would have been nice if back patio had been cleaned and set up with chairs, table and umbrella.
If Cons are not a factor, property is good for a large family or small group.
We enjoyed our stay which was very dog friendly. Home had dog toys, poo bags and every we needed for our stay while we attended a destination wedding in the mountains.
The house was spectacular for our week in Truckee. Convenient location, very clean, comfortable, and was stocked with all the essentials. Definitely would stay again!
The property was in a great neighborhood and was very clean. The house was supplied with everything we needed including tennis balls for our dog. We would definitely recommend.
This home was clean, well maintained and nicely appointed home to stay in. The home had everything you needed with a lovely European aesthetic. I am so grateful to stay in a nice home that allowed and even accommodated our furry family member.
Holly was very helpful getting us in last minute. The home was clean, had everything we needed, and was a great location near the ski resorts we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend.
