This was our first time at the chalet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were quick to answer my questions, the place was clean and cutely updated inside, peaceful grounds, close walk to attractions, and very fairly priced for the area. We have already planned to book here again the next time we come to Tahoe.

Property is near the Main Street with many activities and restaurants nearby. Good price for what you get. Quiet, clean, and cozy. Only thing is that some of our towels were stained but we worked around that. Good stay for a weekend trip as a couple.

This was my second visit to this property and I will be back! Always such a wonderful stay at South Lake Chalet! The staff was incredibly responsive and genuinely kind, making everything feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Plus, the location is perfect..just a short walk to the casino and nearby shopping. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient getaway!
