"Older property. Needs cement work outside and paint inside. Room was clean and breakfast good. There were no glasses, extra soap, extra toilet paper in room and no coffee pit in room."

"Tom was very responsive to the questions we had ahead of time. Great property. Great layout for board games w the family. Kitchen was large and easy to work in. Although many steps to the lake, the steps were well constructed and so it was easy to get to, even w 3 kayaks. No curtains/shades on bedroom windows, which was a little off putting to our adult kids, but they rigged sheets to hang which seemed fine. Melrose was close w a great grocery store and firewood (check w Tom on that, as there wasn’t any at the fire pit.). Great stay! Kids loved the weekend."

"This property is so unique and fun! There were four of us in the treehouse and we were comfortable. All the outside spaces to hang out were delightful and we enjoyed all of them. We will definitely try to get back to the area and stay again."

"My wife and I had a great time. The property photos are accurate, communication with host was awesome. Check in and check out were super easy. The home/cabin was exactly as described, we could live there. Friendly neighbors easy access. Couldn’t be more happy."

"It was a great get-away for our family. Megan was a great host getting back to me whenever I had a question. The weather was great and we got a lot of sunshine. Just our last day it was a bit windy. The sunsets were awesome. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and we were so happy to have two bathrooms. We missed having a wood fire and making smores. There were plenty of yard games available. We played games in the large yard. Negatives:The water level was low and was not pleased with the grass growing in the shallow water. The grass was tangling in the boat motor. The fan helped somewhat. We did not like the plastic plates, bowls and cups. We prefer glass."
