Host was very accommodating. Rooms were clean. The only complaint might be the heating/cooling unit seems a little loud for my liking. Overall a thumbs up.

Weekend in Melrose!

The desk worker (I assumed also the owner) was friendly and helpful. He showed general interest in what brought us to stay in Melrose. The staffed seemed happy and seemed to work hard! The room had updated carpeting and furniture and looked like they were trying to improve their hotel.

Very typical super 8. Always good place to stay. Very easy access off I-90. Unusual stay in that no one else in hotel staying at check-in. Even in morning only three or four vehicles parked. Very strange feeling. Good comfortable rooms but breakfast very poor and unattended. Very small community with limited dining.

The lobby area was sufficient for a small group however the couches should be replaced as the distressed imitation leather was shedding pieces of leather on our clothing. The staff (Sam) was awesome. We had everything we needed in the room and was clean. Breakfast was minimal with cereal and toast. I was not expected any more than that, so I was not disappointed!
