Great hotel and staff were great but the fact you had to pay for literally everything in the room was not well communicated and so charging for teabags and coffee was a bit of a shock.

Good size room and clean. A/C worked wonderfully as did blackout curtains. Bed and pillows comfy. Was worried about outside noise due to Times Square location but it was a non issue. Bell hops were friendly and timely with bags.
Some small negatives: bathroom frosted glass door shines bright light into room at night (if not staying alone) and no fan; pretty noisy from neighbors and doors slamming (glad I had ear plugs); was surprised at check-in they needed multiple ids and cc swiped twice.

We have been staying here for many years. Noticed this time the property is showing wear. Seemed like only 1 elevator ever showed up and was very slow. It gets a lot of wear and tear from weddings and sports team. Did not use any amenities.
