"It was easy to manage 2 well behaved dogs due to the resilient floor covering and simple rugs. The kitchen was well appointed. The remote location was ideal and peaceful. Beautiful walks, wonderful cooked meals, reading and comfortable beds, made for a relaxing 50th wedding anniversary. "

"This is the perfect location for anyone looking to explore the northern part of the UP. The property is beautiful, secluded, and calming. Ever amenity you could ask for is included. They even have a great sauna with an attached room that includes a TV and small bar area. They view of the lake is magnificent and watching the sunrise over it makes it even more breathtaking. Located halfway between L'Anse and Copper Harbor, the location offers extremely convenient access to dozens of trails and scenic locations. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This is absolutely our favorite place we have stayed in more than a dozen trips to the area. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing, THIS is the place to stay!"

"This is a very nice rental with wonderful views of Lake Superior. The home was exactly as described and was perfect for our 5 day stay. The property is well maintained and the inside of the home is exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. We didn’t use any of the available outdoor equipment but did stick our toes in the freezing cold water! Highly recommend and would stay here again. "
