Stayed for 12 nights with no complaints! Friendly staff and great breakfast. Room was spacious enough for our family of 5. Felt very safe and accommodated. Would definitely recommend this budget friendly hotel!

Things were a bit outdated, old and didn’t work. The lobby area was great, they offered 24/7 coffee and hot chocolate which was nice. The room size was great. It was just the frustration with what appeared to be lack of care in with the condition of the shower nozzle, outlets not working, ac vent hanging down, the windows in ability to close or lock properly.

We liked the usage of space! The only complaint was that we slept poorly, as the pillows and bed were uncomfortable. Not that this fact bothered us, but you need to mention it on your listing when things are not available, such as the pool. Some people like to swim for exercise, yes, even in the cold.

Easy check in process. Room was big & cleanliness met our standards. Only thing was my child found a box of condoms on the floor when we arrived. Not sure if housekeeping was moving too quickly to not see it as it was in the living room corner. Beds were a bit hard and pillows were small. During our stay the tub backed up. Had to plunge it & pulled out a ton of hair. Complimentary breakfast was great! Had a big variety and kept us full. Despite the minor mishaps, we would definitely be back if we visit Irvine again.

The staff were welcoming and the property/room were clean. The free parking was an added plus. There were some signs of wear and tear but this did not detract from the rating. The internet is very slow. I had my dog with me but the sign in questionnaire did not address this. They noticed when I was going to my room. I obviously was not trying to hide my dog but they should put this on their form. I gladly paid the pet fee.

Pool was closed for repairs, and I was not notified. When I arrived the older worker at check in was very rude because my kids were complaining that the pool was closed and he kept saying, "I can just cancel what do you want to do." I had just traveled with two children, and it was 7pm I was not going to cancel but geez show a little more compassion. I explained that I had my entire soccer team staying here the weekend for a tournament that I coach. Again, "what do you want to do" I won't be staying here again.

Tried to stay here with my family for a night away from home. After showing up, we found that the pool was down for repairs (the main reason we booked the place). We politely asked to cancel the stay and get a refund. The desk made it seem like no problem, but when our booking site called to finalize the refund, Best Western refused and said the ticket is non-refundable. This place is a scam and squeezes each customer for anything they can. Even if their core amenities are down and they don’t let the public know. Stay away from this place, tons of better hotels and the same or better pricing. We stayed right down the road and it was much better than this place.

We do repairs on the spa facility during the winter, since there isn't much demand for the pool, but because of the rain we haven't been able to get the city to go through a health and safety inspection of the facilities. We have no problem issuing a refund on our end, but since you booked your reservation through expedia and paid through the third party they would be the ones to refund your card.Thank you so much and have a great day!

The room was clean and big. The inclusive hot breakfast is the highlight of this place. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuit and gravy… it was great! The only minus would be no added security to enter the hotel area. Anyone can ride elevator and access the hotel area. I never felt my safety was in danger but it was something I noticed.

Friendly staff. Excellent hot breakfast made to order, as well as the usual self serve waffles, yogurt, and breadings. Covered self parking. Love the room is suite style. Would come back!

I really did not expect the room to be as a nice as it was. The brief stay was peaceful and serene. I checked in late and even though there were a few people checking in at that time, it was a quick process, and the front desk clerk was very kind. I loved the room and wished I had booked for 2 nights instead of one.
