"This was the first time returning to my home town and stayed in a hotel as well as my first visit to the Hotel Wayne. The hotel is a historic building and as such does not have an elevator; however, it does have a beautiful wide staircase. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel Wayne has has its own restaurant and bar for your relaxation. The bartender, Maggie, was wonderful as were Shelby and Mel. Thank you ladies for allowing me to spend time with you! I miss you already... My room was large, well appointed and clean. It over looked Main Street and the star on Irving Cliff. This was a welcome perspective. If you are looking for a historic place and don't mind not having all of the frills, I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Wayne."
