"While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. "This estate provided a wonderful experience for our annual Family Reunion (four generations). The lodging was spacious, comfortable, and flowing. The back deck, off the main house, was the popular gathering spot. And the oversized kitchen and great-room in the entertainment house was fantastic for our dinners and post dinner gatherings. "The house was clean and pictures were accurate. Easy to check in. The kitchen had many tools, cooking utensils and pots and pans but there was no basic pantry items just fyi. Easy to solve with a trip to a grocery store. There is only a Keurig coffee maker but pods are provided. My only issue was that we were only given the two trash bags in the trash can. "The Inn is a step back in time. If you're looking for a place to unwind away from the busy pace of modern life, this is just what the doctor ordered. Sari and Bonnie and staff are wonderful people, the food is top notch, and not having televisions in the rooms is a welcome bonus. The lake across the street affords opportunities to fish or kayak, and there's plenty of trails and back roads to explore whether you're hiking, biking, or driving around."
