Million Dollar Views Oceanfront Studio at The Whaler in Ka'anapali

Aloha! Welcome to Unit #764 at the beautiful and world-famous Ka'anapali Beach and the Whaler! Ka'anapali Beach is a destination featured on the Travel Channel and rated as one of the best beaches in the USA. The Whaler is a popular luxurious ocean front resort in the heart of the Ka'anapali Beach, a pristine, white-sand beach, perfect for swimming.

Ideally located on the seventh floor of Tower II, the unit is professionally managed, and is an oceanfront unit with spectacular views of the ocean, Black Rock, Whaler Courtyard and the West Maui Mountains. This unit is literally steps away from Ka'anapali Beach.

Our condominium was recently completely renovated down to the studs. The condo is completely refurbished with a California King-sized bed, all new furniture inside and on the Lanai. Amenities include a full supply of linens and towels, a fully-equipped kitchen including all utensils and appliances. Free washer and dryer are available on each floor of the building. The Whaler provides additional amenities including pool and spa, beach towels, a fitness center, tennis courts, and barbecue areas, to make your stay enjoyable. Free wireless internet is available in the unit.

World class shopping is next door at the Whaler Village and dozens of restaurants are within walking distance of The Whaler. A paved walking path right outside the Whaler stretching the entire length of Ka'anapali Beach will take you to Black Rock, a string of great resorts along the coast, and live entertainment.

Play golf at the Royal Ka'anapali golf course adjacent to the Whaler, or at any one of the three championship courses in Kapalua, The Bay, The Village, and The Plantation, just minutes away by car.

The Whaler recently completed $30 million worth of renovations and enhancements to maintain its status as a world class resort property. This included remodeling of the pool, spa, and the adjacent deck, the courtyard, tennis courts, elevators.

The Whaler charges a resort fee/day which includes parking, pool towels, morning coffee and new fitness center. The resort fee as of Apr 1 2025 = $35/night and is collected by The Front Desk upon check out.

Total taxes levied are the County of Maui 3% MCTAT tax in addition to the State TAT of 10.25% and State Tax of 4.5%. Total tax charged/night is 17.75%

Beautifully recently remodeled and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with matching good quality utensils and dinner ware. The bed was very comfortable. The view -- spectacular! We have stayed in a studio at The Whaler over 15 times, and this is the best.
Breakfast on the lanai can't be beat.

Beautiful! The place was gorgeous and the hosts were great. Washer and dryer right next to the unit, beautiful views, little touches - like snorkel equipment, salt/pepper, cooler, ice packs and so much more available make the place feel like home. The surrounding area, in walking distance, was lively and there always something to do. Would love to stay here again, thank you!

Truly Great Experience on Kaanapali Beach

We love staying at The Whaler and Ian and Sue’s condo does not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very clean and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. When our destination is Maui, our first priority will be to book this condo again.

Large, beautiful studio

My husband and I had a great stay! The unit was clean and well-stocked. For a studio, we had plenty of room, and the view was amazing. As the lanai was in the shade during the day, the unit stayed cool and we could sit there watching whales as we ate our breakfast. I would certainly come back to this unit -- we had a fabulous time!

Amazing Honeymoon Spot

We loved being near the ocean and with a Mountain View! Parking was easy as well! Having chairs and an umbrella for the beach really saved us money- the rentals from the resort add up. We would stay here again 100% and recommend it to anyone!

Condo764 is the best property that we have stayed at in the Whaler. Great location, close to Whalers Village, restaurants near by, great view of the ocean. It is very well kept and exceptionally clean. We recommend others to stay here.

We had a great time at the Aston at the Whaler celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. I definitely recommend this property for your future Maui getaway. The staff is friendly, the property is clean, and is in walking distance to Whalers Village.

The Whaler in general is gorgeous. Ground pristine, fantastic water features, gym, sauna and very friendly staff. Room 764 is the cherry on top! Comfortable, clean, views for miles, lots of extras for the beach and very friendly owners.

This is a great unit at the Whaler. Very clean, updated, and well provisioned (beach gear, comfortable bedding, towels, etc). The communication from the owners is fantastic, easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The location of the whaler within Kaanapali is amazing with shops and restaurants next store and immediate access to the best part of beach (black rock). Would definitely rebook this unit.

Beautiful condo!

The owners were always quick to respond to any questions & accommodating . The unit is exactly as the photos show. The condo has been renovated to a high standard & quality of furnishings. The lanai offers a wonderful view including some whale watching. The condo is very clean & had everything we needed. All the staff were friendly & helpful. The Whaler is a great location with lots of restaurant choices plus ABC has almost everything you might need. Mahalo Ian & Sue. Your condo was perfect for us.

Book it! This studio is amazing. Very clean, perfect view of courtyard, beach, and balcony shaded in afternoon. Location was perfect with Whalers Village shopping & restaurants right next door. Beach chairs, umbrella & snorkle gear in unit, and can get towels & beach chair from cabana by pool. Our stay could not have been easier!

We love the whaler and stay every summer - The location and unit was updated - Did not really like the fridge set up with two and you could have used a few more plates for cooking or eating - We were having to do dishes a lot - Great Views and Stay -
