We stayed for a week in February 2019 and the resort is a true 5* property! It is well kept, the services are all readily available and the staff are very friendly - with one very bad exception that we encountered! I have a physical disability in my leg and have a "Disability" vehicle display, hence I was permitted to use Valet services without charges - which I sincerely appreciated. However, one of the valets named - Kekoa was always extremely rude! I noticed charges for valet parking appearing on my folio and asked him about it. He continued to be rude and actually made a physical threat with an aggressive advance towards me - a disabled person! I did not report it as I did not want to upset my family and ruin their vacation. All other valets were courteous, considerate and very friendly. Kekoa told me that I would get better service if I tipped! I told him since there were so many valets, I was planning to put a sum of money in a 'tip jar' at the end our stay. He said it doesn't work like that! I believe that was the reason he was being rude! Kekoa needs to be coached and disciplined to ensure the guest experience is preserved!
Just one bad apple - otherwise a perfect family vacation with great memories of the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas and beautiful Maui!
