This 2 story unit is ULTRA PRIVATE because it is at the end of the complex and, even though it's on the third floor, there is only one flight of stairs to climb to get to the entrance!
Located on the Royal Kaanapali golf course. Newer condo amenities include Weber gas grill on family room lanai, luxury acacia wood vinyl plank flooring with new area rug in family room, lux acacia wood LVP flooring on the staircase and upstairs bedroom and acacia wood outdoor tiles on the upstairs lanai. The entire condo has been freshly painted in January, 2024. New washing machine in May of 2024, new microwave in August, 2025 and new refrigerator in September, 2025. Traditional Hawaiian decor. The complex also recently completely renovated the central air conditioning chiller units, so no problems with the central air! (Hawaii condos frequently do not have central air, so this is definitely a plus!) Condo comes with a wagon to pack for beach outings, hard cooler, soft cooler/picnic bag, beach chairs, towels and various beach toys. Complex amenities include pool, hot tub, lighted tennis facility and basketball hoop. Sports equipment is available for checkout at the front desk. BBQ grills and covered picnic areas are also available in the recently renovated pool area. Convenient on site parking right outside the unit.
There is a maximum of 1 car per guest. Effective January 1st, 2026, the resort fee will increase from a flat rate of $154.00 to a flat rate of $160.00 no matter how many nights are booked. Bookings made on or before October 17th, 2025, will be "grandfathered" at the flat rate of $154.00. Bookings made October 18th, 2025 or after for stays starting 1/1/2026 or after will need to pay $160 flat rate for parking. This is payable to the resort upon arrival.
Gated parking for your vehicle, use of pool/ poolside facilities, tennis and sports equipment, 24 hour security, and onsite property management M-F is included in the resort fee.
Additionally, if you don't feel like walking or driving around Kaanapali, there is a free trolley! It stops about every 20 min at the Fairway Shops (about a 5 min walk to the other end of the KR complex). The trolley takes you all around the Kaanapali area and it's free! (Tips are appreciated.)
The upstairs master in the condo has a California King bed and the downstairs master has a queen bed. There are also newer gel foam mattress toppers on both beds. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the family room and a (comfy!) roll away twin bed on site, a baby/toddler pack 'n play on site and a high chair on site. Sleeps 7-8 comfortably . Welcome to your home away from home at Kaanapali Royal!
We are heartbroken about the Lahaina fire and are respectfully requesting our guests to refrain from asking locals too many questions. They need the tourism industry to maintain jobs and support their families--please give with a generous heart when you are in West Maui! Mahalo nui loa! Let's hope Lahaina rebuilds soon!
