"This cabin was the perfect location for me to chill out while caring for a friend going through a hard time. The view from the balcony was gorgeous snd healing. This cabin has a front row seat to Lake Cuyamaca. I only used the coffee maker and refrigerator so can’t comment on the kitchen. The dark night sky here is exquisite for star gazing. I spotted two shooting stars on consecutive nights which I took as a good omen. I suggest you bring a portable lounger to get comfortable on the driveway. Herve, the host, was responsive to every question I had. He welcomes communication and good communication is key when staying in such a remote area. Five Thumbs Up!!!!!"

"A beautiful view and a nice place except for parking. 42 steps up and 42 steps down. we had to rent a place for our boat, and we had two cars. the parking was not good. would not stay there again . sorry."

"Our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) really enjoyed this charming retreat! Upon arriving, the most beautiful little fox ran across our path as we drove down the long, secluded driveway straight into nature! My little boys had the best time exploring the large property and playing on the fun hammock. The bbq was great and we loved eating dinner together and playing games on the large deck. The host Dana, was very responsive and accommodating. The home offered plenty of space and we appreciated the coffee bar selection. We didn’t bring any pets but definitely a cool place if you wanted to bring dogs! My only suggestion would be to clean out the fireplace (strong odor upon entering) but besides that everything was great!"
