"We had a great time. All things that they do are very considerate. We ordered dinner and bring to our room. Food were delicious!! I would recommend to order authentic sounded food rather than regular items. Complimentary breakfast was great and very homely. View from our room was amazing and not expensive at all. My husband and I would love to come back."

"Beautiful location. It is located very high up on narrow curvy street. It has a great view. The house is large and well furnished. We ended up spending more time inside due to effects of Tropical Storm Rachel. Lots of wind, rain and fog. Very unusual weather."

"Great location and view of the lake. We went for a wedding at the Fire House and this was so close to the event. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We did see lots of turkeys, deer, geese and squirrels right from the home. I had a question for the host and he responded right away. The area was beautiful and we would like to go back. The area is great for walking, hiking, fishing and just relaxing."

"My family (including 1 child and 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay here. Really nice, quiet, relaxing house with a large backyard. From the Norwegian style details, to overall cabin feel, board games, fireplace, you can tell that a lot of thought was placed into the design and decor. Also, location was nice as it was an easy drive to Mount Laguna, and we were able to visit Rancho Cuyamaca and Julian."

"This is an awesome and unique space in the desert just below Julian, CA. Reni is both the host and the artist responsible for much of the beauty inside the space. Amazing dark skies are visible here and it’s wonderfully quiet most of the day. There isn’t AC but there is a pump based cooling system. The property stays relatively cool even in the heat but be prepared to sleep in a warmer room than you may be used to."

The host made it super easy for us by giving clear instructions and an easy to follow digital guidebook which was AMAZING. The place was clean and everything was so thoughtfully provided.
