Our stay was pleasant . Initially when we arrived we were not happy with the initial room however the manager and staff did there very best to reallocate us a different room immediately which was was much much better. The staff were very polite and helpful most especially the staffs at the residential lounge reception. The manager was very soft spoken and very understanding.
The facilities were good and met our needs however they will need to improve on their WiFi availability.
The location was calm and very secured.
We felt safe most especially coming from the UK- we were happy with the service provided.
Thanks

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
A twin guest house with helpful staff. I did not like my room and had issues with a few other things. However, the hotel was quick to respond and did their best to provide alternatives.
The area is good, feels safe, and not far from restaurants and stores.
We enjoyed our stay.
The staff was great. I messaged this hotel before I booked my room to be sure that they had WiFi. They assured me that they had WiFi. This hotel did not have WiFi. I needed WiFi to complete business.
The food is expensive and isn't very good. The staff was very nice and attentive.
What supposed to be a stay for 3 days turned out to be my my home away from home for over 3 weeks! My compliments is to the staff and the manager for getting this so smoothly in order and giving you the best service experience! The food is better than some of the high end restaurants so there's that! I felt really at home and I had such a great time. The staff is very respectful and they make the best out of it, at moments they were understaffed but because they all chipped in to help out, I as a guest was unaware that this happend. The location was super, because it was at the centre of Lagos Island so I could be a few minutes away with the Uber ride. So the only thing I would say is that the room on the groundfloor is the one room where you could here some noise from the doors(but this is only the case if you're a light sleeper as me, other2ise it's no problem). So just make sure if you stay at the hotel they will serve you breakfast in your room(so if you don't want it in the morning just tell the staff that and they will bring it for you when you call them, just like I did).

In the toilet, the water was running all the time, I could not sleep at night because they gave me a room next to the kitchen, I could hear people talking sometimes until 100:am.
I asked to change room and was told that there was none was available. They could have been nicer and tell me that, may be in 2 or 3 days, one guest is leaving, and we will change your room.
But nothing was proposed in exchange....The same morning I left, there was a guest leaving, they could have proposed. So I stayed at the (The Borough) for my 10 remaining days in Lagos. Power shortage all the time and I could no longer work on my laptop because the power shortages destroyed my charger.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. Special thanks to the manager and also @Chef Simeon he is such a friendly guy, less I forget the other chef is fantastic. Hope to see you all soon!!!
workers are so friendly and professional in what they do, plus safe and cool environment can't wait to visit again

I booked this room when I went to Nigeria to meet my girlfriend.
I arrived late Friday night and realized the condition of the room was not good, so I asked to be moved to a different room and was told there was none available.
The best Experience at this hotel was a woman named Love that worked there, she gets 5 stars, excellent customer service, and she should get a raise or find a place that will pay her what she's worth.
I chose this room primarily because of the jacuzzi it didn't work. I was promised a repair man would come and fix it, didn't happen.
Everything in the bathroom was broken except the toilet.
The bed was a memory foam matterss on a sheet of plywood, very hard.
I booked the room for 2 people, when we arrived there was only 1 towel in the bathroom, I had to ask for another 1.
I fact we had to ask for everything, toilet paper, towels, the complimentary water that should have been in the fridge when we arrived.
I had to plug the fridge in.
We had to asl to have the water heater turned on after they lost power and it got restored, which happened often.
The listing states there is a coffee maker in the room, there isn't.
If you want coffee in your room you will have to call and it will be brought.
Saturday morning after a long day of travel I looked forward to having a nice breakfast, didn't happen.
I was told the cook didn't come in for the day, he didn't show up until the following Tuesday. The food he made was delicous, but he was slow.
I regreted prepaying.
