"Mooi huis aan rand van groot meer. Ruime living, keuken OK - er is geen vaatwas en uitrusting kan wat beter (beperkt aantal pannen, ontbreken van dessertschaaltjes, geen eierdopjes) Drie grote ruime slaapkamers met goede bedden. Badkamer Ok.Op elke kamer is verwarming en ventilator aanwezig. Eigen parkeerplaats. We arriveerden zeer laat (22:30) maar dit was geen probleem. Zeer veel uitleg gekregen over huis en recreatie-mogelijkheden in de buurt. Goede wifi. Ik raad dit huis zeker aan. Tip voor wie met kinderen dit eiland bezoekt: het gemeentelijk zwembad van Lagoa. Dit goedkope (2,50 pp) zwembad heeft zowel gewone zwembaden als mogelijkheden om in zee te zwemmen/spelen Er is toezicht en sanitaire voorzieningen (douches, wc, kleedhokjes) zijn prima."

"The host was great with communication leading up to our stay. Parking, location, check in process was all clearly laid out before we arrived. The location is excellent, super cute gardens in the property are very well maintained. We were greeted by the local cat we called “kitty” or “Oreo” while we stayed. The sunset was beautiful. The kitchen is small but everything you need is there. Fan in the bedroom is nice if you’re staying during a hotter month. We will come back next time we visit!"

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft in sehr schöner Umgebung! Haus und Ort laden zur perfekten Erholung ein. Atlantik, Strand und Fernweh direkt vor der Haustür. Es waren unser erster Azorenbesuch und wird sicherlich nicht der letzte Besuch bleiben."

"The location is ridiculously amazing and that is what you're paying for. Place is incredibly spotless considering it is on a beach. Like most places we stayed it is a very wet island and if you are sensitive to mold or moisture that is something to be aware of. Stairs are a bit tricky to the bed if you have any mobility or knee issues. Very easy to get to and from landmarks on this side of the island. Relatively easy parking."

"The house was beautiful with breathtaking views. The host was kind and responsive whenever I had a question. Had everything we needed to make it our home away from Home. We even had neighborhood cats come and say hello. Wonderful trip made special by bringing my Dad’s ashes home to his homeland. His last wish before he passed."

"The cottage is located in a rural area. You need a car to enjoy the location. I felt very safe here. The local store is a short drive. Maria, there is super helpful and gives lots of good information about what to see. The Miradouro das Cumeeiras is a 9 minute drive away. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset over Sete Cidades. Mosteiros and Ferraria are less than a 20 minute drive. The house borders a ravine where birds nest. You wake up to the sounds of nature. If nature is your thing, this place is a balm for your soul. There are sheltered patios around the house so you can enjoy the outdoors even if there is a bit of a wind."
