"We left the property spotless, cleaner than when we arrived, and I have photographic proof. Yet the host still had the nerve to complain and tried to charge us an extra cleaning. There were absolutely no clear instructions about where to put the trash, and we searched the entire place without finding a single bin. That kind of basic info should be obvious or communicated. It wasn’t.It gets worse. The host never greeted us, never checked in, and left us completely on our own. We had to rely on the neighbor to help us figure out how to get in because the host’s instructions were vague and lazy.To top it off, they actually tried to charge us for using the hot tub, which we never used and also against Vrbo policy. We lifted the cover to check the water temperature, that’s it. It’s on the property and wasn’t listed as off limits, so the charge is ridiculous.Oh, and the towels? Filthy and barely larger than hand towels. We had to go out and buy our own. Truly pathetic.The host is rude, useless, and completely disconnected. If you expect even the bare minimum of hospitality, look elsewhere. This person should not be hosting. They’re unprofessional, they don’t care about their guests, and they certainly don’t deserve your money.Spare yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with VRBO. I take care of every place I stay. Too bad this host can’t say the same about how they treat their guests."
