Les 5 Terrasses - Gascony - SW France A private pool & a fantastic view !
- An old stone house, entirely renovated, built in the ancient walls of this charming gascon village. A stone's throw from the house is the garden and its large swimming pool (12x6 m) with salted water and a fantastic view on the surrounding countryside. The village of La Sauvetat is 12 km from Fleurance, 15 km from Lectoure and 60 km from Marciac.
In August there is the Astronomy Festival in Fleurance, and the Jazz festival in Marciac in July/August. You are near Lectoure, where there is always lots going on.
In the village, there is a small grocer’s shop, tennis and pétanque courts and lovely gascon people.
Like I do, you will appreciate the quietness and easy living of this place. In summer, the house stays cool due to the thickness of the stone walls. The swimming pool is great and is such a calm, private place, not overlooked.
