Excellent hotel - will stay again.

Very nice hotel right next to the centre harbour port area. Very friendly english speaking staff. No car parking but lots of city parking fairly close. Will definitely stay again when in La Rochelle.

The people here we're lovely and very helpful. The place is a stones throw from the marina and lots of restaurants. Our bed was hard, towel radiator in the bathroom was rusty.

Location, style, comfort.

Perfect location close to the port and excellent restaurants. Small room and bathroom but really stylish and extremely comfortble bed. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculate, quirky and beautiful. Reception and all staff spoke English and were very helpful with information and suggestions. We used the disabled room by reception which made accessibilty care free. Our little dog was made welcome and was very content in the room. Breakfast served fron 7.30am and was fresh and excellent quality. We stopped the car outside to unload/load but finding the car parks with space was a little difficult. Worth it to have such a wonderful location

Excellent hotel in a superb location, just round the corner from the main harbour area. Secure motorbike parking available for 10€. Would I stay there again?? Definitely.

The hotel in general was very good and comfortable, very clean and close to all amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was some clientele were inconsiderate to others by chatting and laughing outside our bedroom at 2.15 in the morning, and when told to shut up they just laughed and made even more noise.

Great location for exploring La Rochelle

Nice hotel, friendly staff and an excellent location for exploring La Rochelle. The app did state that parking was 'available' but this was actually in one of the local town car parks and not connected to the hotel. We stayed in a secure multi storey car park under one of the squares which was reasonably priced and only 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

We visited for a week as a family with our 14 yo son. La Rochelle is a great place to bring kids. The hotel is very well placed for the Old Port, restaurants, the beach and other attractions, all very walkable - we visited the Aquarium and the Maritime museum and did the Fort Boyard boat trip. We had the room for 4 with the balcony - which was a bonus, though there is some other outside space too. The room suited our needs - with comfy beds (a sofa bed for our son) and nice shower and only a short flight of stairs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If we ever go back, we will very probably stay there again.

Adequate but not memorable

Due to a festival and road works we were unable to get to the hotel without an 8 minute walk. Staff pleasant and hotel standard was average. Items that let the establishment down was the lack of tea and coffee in the rooms, very small flat pillows and the lack of lift to get luggage to the upper floors.

The outside of the building is not appealing. The inside is first-class. Car parking for me is always an issue!! Site advertises car parking available but it is in public car parks that you may or not get parking! This is a general complaint applicable to a lot of sites.

Central location in La Rochelle

We stopped in La Rochelle for a night on our way further south. The location is perfect for walkable access to dining and the old port. The hotel entrance and lobby is very nice. There’s also an outdoor courtyard with chairs if you want to sit outside and read. Our rooms were in a separate building at the end of the courtyard and the rooms and bathrooms were fairly small/tight and felt more like 3-star rooms. Staff was friendly. Parking is offsite but only a short walk away (unload bags first). No elevator in the building where our rooms were (we had one ground floor and one first floor room) - no problem for us though. Rooms had AC which was great! It was hot the day/night were there.
