"I've stayed here 2 times and have only been happy with my stay. The location is fabulous with sweeping views of Lake Superior all around. I feel that it is an excellent value for what you get compared to other hotels and inns on the water. The staff has always been friendly and I find the size of the property charming. It is not a typical large casino resort but I appreciate ease of getting around, location and personable staff. I made an error when booking my room that they were extremely willing to work with me on and even booked it through a 3rd party. I will definitely stay here again...without hesitation!"

Never having send that end of the island, we really loved the peace and quiet and beautiful night sky away from the wind and waves while we slept. We never used the fire pit but really enjoyed just sitting and chatting on the swinging bench on the front patio!The house is so roomy, we didn’t need all that space but still loved the coziness of the rooms and eclectic decor. The kitchen was a treat with all the counter space and the convection oven came in handy! Thank you for hosting us and being so accommodating! I’m so glad we got to meet in person, even for just a moment in the rain. We loved our stay and will be back! "

"Everything was great. Check-in was smooth with Larry giving us an overview of how everything works. Kitchen was was well appointed (bring your own spices)Knives could use some sharpening. (I'm fussy) The beach was beautiful, the kids loved doing the steps to get their steps in. I used the lift on the way back up."

"Roomy camper, with fun bunk beds for the kiddos, a/c, and a private outdoor space, my family very much enjoyed their stay. It’s also close to a nice beach with a playground, plus walking distance to most sightseeing in town. Very relaxed vibe, especially our host, who was also super responsive to questions and so accommodating!"
