Small rooms, limited in-room amenities but Mountain View and priced right (summer time)

It was peaceful, nice pool table and bar (although missed a bit of atmosphere) great ski rental inside hotel, easy parking.
Breakfast was bit poor as they only served thin backed off baguettes (in France!) and only apples as fruit option, coffee was shocking.
Room needed a good intense clean, like carpet, little corners, and bedspread.

Decent stay, not sure I’d return
Positives:
- Staff were very friendly
- The bar was well stocked and nice area
- Restaurant was very good
- Location for the slopes/bars/restaurants and shops is excellent
- Boot room for equipment is excellent and the member of staff is brilliant
Negative:
- Walls very thin, was extremely noisy at all times which made it difficult to sleep
- Bed was uncomfortable - mattress was hard and pillows awful
- Bathroom/toilet is extremely small
- Room temp too hot even with radiator off
- No change of towels/barely cleaned the room
I suppose you get what you pay for. This was the only hotel available at the time. We cut our stay short just to leave. The season was over and most everything was closed.

Hotel was not as advertised as services not as advertised. Daily housekeeping only happened once during a 4 night stay. No rainfall shower as advertised.
Hotel is well located with easy walk to town center and slope.
Service was wonderful! Our car was stranded in the parking lot because of heavy snowfall over our stay. The director of the hotel helped us put on snow chains after his shift which was extremely generous! Thank you again Sergio!

Friendly staff, clean rooms
The place itself is in the best position for the slopes, the town, and all amenities. The rooms are clean, warm, and the water is hot. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the manager. Parking is limited, so even though it’s free don’t bank on a space. The hotel is definitely a hostel, so don’t expect major luxury. Rooms are a bit tired and dark, but clean. Lots of school groups, and can be noisy.

Stayed for 3 nights at Ho36 in La Plagne, it looked as though it had recently been refurbed and was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and informative with any enquiries and always on hand to give any information. The bar is great and the food was also of high quality.
The rooms are secure with watch style keys to gain access to the rooms, i didn't have any issues with this or the security of the building. The showers and wash facilities are clean and modern (however some of the refurb looked a tad rough). Again for a hostel it was fine, the only issue i had was with the noise of slamming doors during the night however I'm sure this is something they could resolve.
The main selling point for this hostel is its location (which is perfect) and the price is very reasonable, i have stayed in several hotels in the area which cost much more however i would choose to return to Ho36 based on its location, price and bar!

The room was very small for three people but overall good value for the money charged.
The hotel is located close to the La Plagne center were you can find a number of bars & restaurants, the hotel room was a good size, heating was good and was the shower. The only criticism is that the mattress on the beds was extremely hard and was difficult to get a good nights sleep in the first couple of days, after 2 days hard skiing I could sleep on a washing line so it did not make it such of a problem then. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the ski room has plenty of room for equipment to be left overnight and the bar / restaurant area had a nice atmosphere on the couple of times I used it. The hotel is not exactly ski in / ski out but it is only a 3 minute walk to the piste which is easy enough. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a trip skiing in La Plagne and would have no hesitation in booking it again for next year.
