I really liked it. Room 1408 is a 2 room suite that is pretty nice...2nd room kinda worthless, but the view is perfect from the bedroom while lying in bed at night or on the morning. Can't beat the location. Basically Right across the street from the San Francisco Church & Plaza. Was great for going out to grab some authentic Bolivian street food.. close to the markets and all the shops etc. Only a Short walk to the cable cars too. Staff is amazing!!!

We were given a corner room and arrived after dark. The view was spectacular or the Plaza San Francisco and all of the buildings on the hill. We used the pool and sauna which was very nice. The location of the hotel is in the old part of town. We also used the cable cars to travel around and saw both the old and new parts of town.

Great Central Location
A very central location. One side of the hotel overlooks Plaza San Francisco and the hills of the city behind which makes for a nice view from the higher floors. My room had this great view but it did mean it was a bit noisy at night (cars beeping and dogs barking). The staff are very attentive and helpful. The internet was of the usual standard found in Bolivia, so have patience with it.

Great hotel at convenient location
Clean room with great location near Witches' market, staff helpful in arranging taxi service (which doesn't have meter in La Paz) and answering questions. Mediocre breakfast. A glimpse of La Paz buildings along the slopes. Toilet flush was weak though.

During check inn, attendant could not find our reservation Gad to wait 30m before it was found. Service was good. No shuttles to airport, however there were taxis outside hotel and staff encourage to use them. Taxis by hotel were 20% higher than others. Pool was closed, my kids were really disappointed. WiFi was slow 3g. My child 3 made lines on a chair with a pen and I was charged $40. Food inside hotels restaurant was overpriced..,, Over all not a 5 star maybe a 1 at best 2. Holiday inn is better anywhere in the USA. It was twice as expensive compared to the hotel Gloria Accross the street and Gloria had a functional pool. I would not recommend this facility to patrons from USA!

Good morning, a little worried about comments in relation to your stay in our hotel, but for our peace of mind, I will respond to them: Sometimes the reservations do not arrive on time, however it is the hotel's policy to give it the attention before and see later what happened, in reception I was told that they registered and the subject of the reservation was left for later. The hotel has an airport service with certified transportation by us, that is, as anywhere in the world, when you hire the services of a certified transport, you pay for your safety in addition to transportation. Our pool is closed from the beginning of April 2019 for maintenance and this is published in all the pages that offer our services. We deeply regret the impasse with your child, unfortunately we have internal rules for these cases. Finally, it is not possible to compare a 5-star hotel and a three-star hotel. We deeply regret not having met your expectations, we hope to have the opportunity to receive you again and correct these inconveniences. Thank you

It is well located for downtown businesses and the property is very well designed and decorated. Unfortunately age doesn't help and you begin to see the damage caused by the years and little remodeling of the rooms.

Ideal 4 star rating La Paz hotel
Newly renovated bedroom is clean,big and comfortable. Front desk friendly and fast. Well located just opposite San Francisco Church where all tour start. Breakfast included is good. Highly recommended .

Good clean upper market hotel, interior starting to feel a bit dated now and many fancy electric controls from the bed side don't work. The bathroom is especially out of date, and don't use the Jacuzzi as it hasn't run since 1985 and produces only rusty water. Hotel has a definite business/corporate feel and restaurants are over priced compared to near by options. Great location, central La Paz and parking under ground (Although this was full with Dakar crew when we stayed). For an upmarket hotel I was disappointed with the service from staff. No options for help with our bags and reception staff we largely unhelpful especially when organising a prebooked shuttle to the airport.

Enjoyed our stay here
Stayed here 1 night and found it very pleasant. Just 15 minutes from the airport. Lovely big room, comfy beds and not noisy, nice view of the city from the 12th floor. Bathroom very clean, usual toiletries provided. Bottled water is supplied too!. Location is great, and the hotel is very elegant, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and Price
Stayed for 5 days for a recent business trip and overall the hotel is in the center of the city with great access to various square in the city. This was easy access to where I need to be for my daily meetings and I would definitely go back for the location. Only one thing that I think needs to be fixed is that the smell from the cooking in the restaurants can flow to each floor and room. Better ventilation in the restaurnts can fix this.

razonable, es necesario remodelar el hotel tidavia con carpet, alfombra, desayuno flojo, café horrible y templado, leche templada, 2 opciones pan y solo tipo tostada, frutas sin sabor nada dulce, huevo de vaso como dijeron totalmente clara e yema cruda horrible, omelete a gusto es muy buena. Restaurante muy buena comida.
