This was the CLEANEST place I think I have ever stayed! The room was immaculate, the staff was amazing, and the landscaping should be in a magazine! We enjoyed delicious homemade breakfast burritos with the BEST salsa. I would recommend this slice of heaven to anyone and everyone! I can’t wait to go back!!

This property is a Texas Hill Country Gem! We had a short stay but it was pleasant, comfy and very beautiful. The breakfast/coffee was as good as a home cooked meal. Great communication before and during stay! La Palmilla staff was great.

Beautiful inside and out, very comfortable and clean with spacious rooms. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. This would make a wonderful special event venue with it’s beautiful chapel and large cantina.

Beautiful boutique resort

Photos don’t do it justice. Absolutely beautiful place. Everything was wonderful. Secluded feeling but quick access to Glen Rose. You don’t have to leave the property. Excellent food truck with the best pizza and breakfast tacos. Sparkling pool. Beautiful little Spanish mission church on the property. Gorgeous stained glass. Soft Spanish guitar playing throughout the property. A nice place to de-stress, have a girls’ or guys’ trip, romantic getaway, wedding, business strategic planning event, family reunion, or just a fun weekend. Worth the splurge.

Outstanding!

Such a relaxing, gorgeous, and unique venue. The level of service was outstanding. My husband and I began planning a return visit not long after we arrived! The gardens and stained glass were beautiful and the fridge stocked with drinks at the outdoor kitchen area were uncommon pleasant touches. THIS is the place to stay when visiting Glen Rose or Granbury area or for locals needing a staycation.

We were heading home and decided we wanted to find a nice quiet place to spend the evening and came upon La Palmilla. It is tucked just outside the town of Glen Rose. Wow! It is so picturesque and serene. Just what we needed after 2 days of travel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. And then there are the rooms! Truly, well designed a luxurious. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have had during any of our stays. This is a must stay if you are ever in the south Dallas area.

FLAWLESS UNBELIEVABLE RESORT IN GLENROSE. BEST!!!

Flawless resort experience, from check in to check out. La Palmilla is a hidden gem barely 2miles outside of Glenrose. Luxury resort with villas ranging from single bed rooms with nespresso maker / fridge / micro / deluxe bath to multi-bedroom full service with kitchen, washer&dryer...all the things! Super peaceful and chill at night. Beautiful, gated, secluded. Tesla chargers. Great pool, lots of activities, fully stocked bar and the BEST staff! Check in is all online with key coded gate and doors. As we left, the staff came by our car in a golf cart to thank us, ask about our stay and gave us organic pears and apples...it felt like a movie!!!

Little slice of paradise out in the Country..

Incredible place! Maintained beautifully, units were beyond clean, as well as the impeccably manicured grounds. Pool and hot tub were a nice touch (albeit a little on the smaller side). Stayed in their Casitas, the kitchens were well stocked with full kitchens. Units even had washer/dryers! Only thing I would suggest is they add protein to the breakfast offerings- pancakes were the only thing on the menu..

Celebrating 25th Wedding Anniversary

La Palmilla was absolutely beautiful!! Everything in our room was so perfect. This place made you feel like you were staying at a top notch resort in Mexico. We only stayed one night this time, but we will definitely stay there again in the future. Checking in and out was very easy. It was a contactless check in, but the owners and staff were very welcoming. The pictures online don’t lie. It’s even more beautiful in person.

Beautiful resort. Loved the layout, beautiful asthetics and landscaping. Great breakfast. Loved the pool and hot tub. Just little things: 1) sound from ajoining room (TV was loud) and sound of talking (probably because of tile floors). Believe some of speakers in center area were cutting in & out. Maybe a short in the line somewhere. Looking forward to returning and bringing family.

I had an amazing stay at this Mexican Vibe Resort!from the moment our booking was confirmed , a VA gave a clear instruction and one text away. As we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. They were incredibly efficient, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. ADAN gave us a tour and wonderful trivias of the property. Whether it was room service, restaurant recommendations, or activity recommendations ( fossil rim , winery) everything was handled quickly and professionally. The resort itself has a vibrant, authentic atmosphere that really captures the spirit of Mexico. The little chapel is my personal favorite. (PERFECT FOR A WEDDING VENUE).The decor, food (must try mr. ANDY's breakfast TACO and SALSA) and wee gym were all top-notch, and the river view was stunning. Clean rooms, heated pools and a relaxing vibe all around. My kids had the best time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun and hassle-free vacation with great service that is like an hour away from DFW area.
