After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. "Nicely renovated house in one of the most beautiful villages in the Minervois. Great to have two bathrooms along with the two bedrooms. Well equipped and everything working. The owner lives close by and was very helpful throughout, providing wood for the fireplace during a cool spell. Charming terrace with views for warmer days. Highly recommended."
