Weekend getaway
This was a lovely property, and Francesca was a wonderful hostess. Quaint little Casita, but it was all about location. Located in the village, we could walk anywhere and we really enjoyed the farmers market! Highly recommend!

PERFECT VACATION!
This gorgeous Spanish Casita was perfect for my husband and I for a romantic getaway, and to also visit our daughter who lives in Ja Jolla. It was a short walk to La Jolla Village and the stunning La Jolla Cove. The casita was spotless, stunning, and just as pictured. Location was perfect, parking was easy, and our host, Francesca was a delight! We will definitely make this one of our regular places to stay when we visit. Thank you for everything Francesca!!!

Francesca and Steve's casita amongst the gardens is a divine slice of La Jolla. I was contemplating staying on the cover or beach, and grateful to have decided on the casita instead! Francesca and Steve were generous hosts that offered fantastic recommendations, while providing a clean and comfortable home away from home. Brava!

Perfect Stay in Charming La Jolla
What a great home in the center of town! Easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and the ocean from this beautifully appointed casita. We loved the walled garden, what a special treat to enjoy during the day.

Garden Sanctuary
Francesca's guest house is perfect for a couple, and has all the comfort and amenities you need. Walking distance to everything in La Jolla. The courtyard garden is beautiful and serene. 5 Stars!

My parents (81 yo) stayed at this casita while visiting me for the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was excellent, very homey and within walking distance to the village. The host was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this property for your visit to La Jolla.

We loved our stay at Francesca's casita. It was tastefully furnished/decorated, very well equipped and in a quiet location but very close to all amenities. We didn't have a car during our stay but felt that we didn't need one as everything you need is within walking distance. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we ever return to La Jolla.

The Casita was a wonderful, peaceful little oasis in perfect distance from La Jolla. We had a great stay, and while we were mostly out and adventuring around SoCal, it made an ideal home base. Thanks to our hosts!

Charming Carriage House

La Jolla - July 2022
The apartment was very nice & clean as was all the kitchen appliances. There was a pretty garden with outside seating which was shared with the owners, Francesca & Steve. My only disappointment was when I originally reserved this unit amenities said Air conditioning & washer and dryer. There was no ac or washer & dryer, which we found out about two weeks prior to our arrival. Francesca did let us use her personal washer and dryer on two separate occasions. I stayed at this VRBO for two weeks. We did ask francesca about the discrepancy and she said those two items were listed in error. She did offer to refund our money but at such a late notice we were unable to make other arrangements. We already had been in California for two weeks prior at another location. I’m not sure if the era was on VRBO’s end or francesca’s.

A Cozy Get Away
My husband and I enjoyed this cute and quiet, elegant 1 bedroom casita. Very modern and clean. Just blocks away from the beach and dining. You can walk everywhere. You will enjoy sitting in the courtyard garden with all of the colorful flowers.

Lovely home in a great location
This was a lovely, clean and smart property in a great location. We stayed for 1 week and found plenty to do in the area with some great food. We only briefly met Francesca, but she gave us plenty of information relating to restaurants etc. The only thing missing for us (3rd week on vacation from the UK) was access to a washing machine. This would be a great addition.

What a hidden gem! Francesca is an awesome host and wants to provide the best experience possible. Location to everything in the village of La Jolla is excellent. It is obvious that Francesca takes pride in the style and upscale amenities at this Casita. This place was absolutely spotless clean. Even though it is a place primarily for two guests, it is very tasteful and provides a “wow” factor on how it is laid out. You can’t go wrong with this one. We will definitely be back. Best VRBO Stay
This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in- location couldn’t be better, it was the perfect amount of space, had everything we needed, was extremely clean, etc. The hosts were super friendly-They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we checked in! I honestly can’t rave about this place enough- Definitely don’t hesitate and book this place ASAP! We will be staying here again next time we visit San Diego!

This spot was great for our La Jolla minimoon. We were able to walk to the Cove and various restaurants and coffee shops. It’s a cute space and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in La Jolla!

Perfect location, awesome hosts, beautiful property!
This place was just perfect for us! I'm moving from NYC out to San Diego for a new job soon and needed a place to work during the day (remotely due to Covid) and use as a home base to explore different neighborhoods in the eve to live in when I move. Internet worked beautifully for my work, even out in the garden, the location is SUPER convenient - can walk to town for restaurants and shops, walk to the beach, walk to the grocery and wine store just a couple of blocks away, close drive to get to main freeways, etc. The owners are so wonderful, were super responsive to all my questions, shared a glass of wine with us one eve to tell us about neighborhoods to look at and give us inside tips to San Diego. I'll be staying in touch with them as I complete my move out there! And you can't beat the property - the garden is gorgeous and so relaxing with a little koi fish pond, trickling fountains, firepit, and beautiful flowers. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven!

Property was clean and looked just like pictures. The garden is a delight and really pretty at night and in the early morning. Close to shops, restaurant and beach. Can’t beat the location.
