Beautiful Place!
What a beautiful place to stay. The place was clean, and exactly as advertised. Stunning views from floor to ceiling windows. My wife and I hated to leave the apartment. On a nice quiet street right on the beach. Bikes and everything needed for the beach were added bonus. Highly recommended. Wendi was very responsive to any questions we had leading up to our visit.

Enjoy the surf all day
We really enjoyed the location and view of the surfers, waves hitting the rocks, and sunset each and every day of our 3 week stay. The apartment has all the frills to make our stay in Windensea La Jolla amazing. Thank you Wendi for being very responsive. We will return.

Unforgettable Sunsets
Wendi is an amazing host. Her welcome book was super clear, and the restaurant recommendations were all fantastic. The location is exceptional and the ocean views amazing. Watching the surfers and the sunsets, and the people walking their dogs through the all glass walls was super fun! The attention to detail, the fully appointed kitchen, the comfortable bed and furniture, and the walk-in tiled shower, all together, make for an exceptional rental and one of the best places we have stayed in all our years of travel.

Wonderful beach experience
The property was immaculate and creatively decorated. Stunning ocean views. Access to beaches and hiking trails, great restaurants (recommend Ambrosio by Acqurello- unbelievable), wildlife, and Scripps was easy. Kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking if the spirit moves you. We recommend the property very highly.

Great Location
We were in town for a wedding and stayed here for the long weekend. The location was perfect, We watched the sunset and the surfers from the comfort of the living room every day and could hear the ocean at night, Wendi was responsive and flexible and everything went smoothly.

5-star condo
We were looking for a contemporary beach side condo to escape the desert heat, and we nailed it! Love the view, comfortable beds, Viking appliances, red accents are done tastefully and make it a very fun decor theme. Beach chairs and bikes are nice ‘extras’

Amazing oceanfront property
All the conveniences of home in this amazing oceanfront property. Love the red theme with great artwork. Incredibly outfitted kitchen with the extras: plastic bags, cleaning supplies, Saran Wrap and aluminum foil, etc. the available garage parking is a real bonus too.

Ideal Place on the Pacific Coast
We were in La Jolla for a family event (wedding) and two couples stayed in the condo for five nights. It was a comfortable setup, with two king beds and two full bathrooms (showers, not tub). One bedroom was completely private, the other off the living room and open, but it worked just fine in our situation (Husband, me, brother, SIL). The condo is the most well-appointed of any VRBO we have stayed in. Top line appliances, plenty of dishes, glassware, cooking and bakeware, serving pieces. Linens were high quality and plentiful, including beach towels as well as in-home items. Cleaning supplies made it easy for us to keep up, as did the washer/dryer. We often had other family members hanging out with us and it never felt crowded. The location is ideal -- across the street from the main beach, with floor-to-ceiling windows to watch the ocean activity -- from surfers to animal life. The owner provided 2 bicycles (we didn't use) and four beach chairs (three functional, one likely will be replaced as the seat was torn and likely the owner did not know this given how high quality everything else was). The decor was fun -- red is the primary color, with white cabinetry and a large wall mirror setting it off well. Everything was comfortable. We were all sad to leave and I'd highly recommend this as a base of operations for a shorter or longer stay. Truly an ideal place!

Spring in La Jolla
We had a relaxing stay at this beautiful property. The ocean view and the sound of the waves were memorizing. The property was close to great fine dining, golf, hiking, and water sports. We awoke to watch the morning surfers out the window as they tried to tame the waves. The property was well outfitted. There is a reason why this place has all 5 star reviews. I would highly recommend it.

BEST Condo in La Jolla!!!!
We returned for a second visit to this gorgeous condo and fell in love with it even more! Its obviously perfect for 2 people, but this time we came with our adult daughter and her boyfriend and the space was absolutely perfect for 4 people as well. Walkable to anything you'd want to do; beach days, surfing, kayaking, biking, shopping and dining at a wide variety of fabulous restaurants or staying in and utilizing the fabulously outfitted kitchen for private dining wih the best sunset view (highly recommend the salads and take-n-bake pizza from American Pizza Manufacturing). The condo has great space in a great location and makes for an overall fantastic vacation! Cant wait until our next visit!!!!!!!!

Our favorite La Jolla spot! Ocean paradise!
This is our go to spot in La Jolla. The owner is very nice and accommodating and is very prompt with replies. Building is safe and quiet. Views are gorgeous and we love listening to the sound of the ocean from the main area. Bathrooms are nicely decorated. Definitely an all around wonderful stay!

When the unit has an unexpected plumbing issue, instead of just cancelling on us, Wendy was so gracious and offered up her neighbor’s unit for the same price. So incredibly thoughtful of her to go above & beyond like that. So we stayed in this beautiful building that is the perfect location with stunning views! Thank you!

My wife and I have travelled all over the US and this was the best place, bar none, that we have ever stayed! The windows on this VRBO, OMG! The view of the coastline was breathtaking! And it was very conveniently located to dining and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

Stunning views, location next to the best beach, beautiful sunsets every night, water is spectacular! Amenities are excellent inside the condo, the portable air conditioning worked fairly well as we had warmer weather while we were there. Very light and bright for the beach!

First Time
This was my first experience staying at a Vrbo property. In the past we have always stayed at a hotel/resort. There are obvious trade-offs, but not in any negative way. Vrbo is now an option to consider when I travel. A shout out to the host, she was great. As to the property and the view, I echo that of the many previous guests as to its uniqueness and view. I have been spoiled, sitting on the patio at home looking at my backyard has become a little less eventful than it was before.

It's all about the view (both inside and outside)
From the beautifully decorated and designed interior to the the commanding ocean view, this property excels in so many ways. Every care has seemingly been taken to delight us as guests at this property. Amenities are superior and the view from the large windows is exceptional. It's tempting to stay in the condo, but the ocean and beach access are only a few steps away. Communication with property mgmt is easy and prompt.

What a view
Great location ! Well maintained and clean. Safe and secure parking at this quiet apartment on the best beach in the area. The surfers start at daybreak and go until dark giving you lots to watch at any time. We will go again !

Terrific location; interesting decor but that was one of the appealing features for us; prior guests leave non-perishables which is nice, we did the same; need a new can opener and just about ran out of tp; overall would highly recommend! The place is exactly as pictured, and yes, you can watch the surfers almost every day and the sunsets are *amazing*! Wendi is very helpful and responsive - we didn't have any problems with the apartment but we asked her advice on a rental car issue. We enjoyed the French Gourmet and Piatti from her recommendation list. We were not thrilled with the Promiscuous Fork, though (actually can't remember if it was on her list - it's on just about every list you see). We cooked quite a few times and everything you would need was there. Pro tip: when you see the note about lowering the shades when you go out, take it to heart! We forgot once and it took a long while to get the place cooled down. Overall a spectacular stay; we were super sorry to leave!

25th Wedding Anniversary
Our wedding anniversary vacation in this gorgeous La Jolla condo was absolute perfection! Everything about this condo is spectacular, from the location to the view, to the extremely well-appointed kitchen and expertly decoarted interior. Take a short walk through the quiet and quaint neighborhoods of La Jolla and enjoy many of the delicious dining options near La Jolla Cove (we highly recommend Eddie V's for an outstanding fine dining experience). Windansea Beach is the perfect small beach for those of us who like a less crowded beach experience. The cliffs and rocks make for breathtaking views, especially at sunset! Do yourself a favor and book this condo immediately! You will have the most unforgettable getaway! We can't wait to stay here again soon!

Incredible La Jolla Gem
Loved every bit of our stay in this gorgeously appointed condo. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, and the views were spectacular. The condo had everything (including a movie projector we didn’t know we needed but to which we are now positively addicted). We were sad to be leaving but that’s just a reflection of how much we loved our time here.

We loved our week in La Jolla. The ocean view and the sound of the waves were incredible along with beautiful sunsets. The location is near many restaurants and a local gourmet grocery store. The host was Available and helpful. We had one small problem with the refrigerator but she immediately sent a repairman out.
