Villa Marcela - Families & Friends Gateway

Villa Marcela is located 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna, the house is an excellent option for families, friends and couples traveling together. There are 4 bedrooms with A/C units, three full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen area, WIFI (15 Megabytes) and Cable TV. Relaxing private pool and BBQ area to enjoy after your daily adventures. Great option to explore La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, very close to all main attractions.

Comfortable Villa just 3 minutes away from the central park of La Fortuna, great option for extended families and groups of friends.

Bedroom distribution:
Bedroom 1: King sized bed, private bathroom and A/C unit.
Bedroom 2: Full and single bed with A/C unit.
Bedroom 3: Two full beds with A/C unit.
Bedroom 4: Queen bed, A/C unit and private bathroom.
***This bedroom is outside the house by the pool area.
***Maximum people staying in the house is 11, however the base rate per night is for 6 people, each additional person will have an extra cost of US$25 per person per night so please add the total of people staying to get the correct amount to pay.

The villa is completely private for our guests, you do not share with anyone; we have other properties close by but each one has it own private entrance, every space between guests is separated. Property caretakers live on site taking care about maintenance of everything. Please check all of our house rules and add all the people staying, the house rate depends on how many people is staying, including kids.

We offer FREE PLANNING SERVICE for your transportation and tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, just let us know what you would like to do and we will help you to organize your vacations in our country with excellent rates and service. Once you book our property we will send you a detailed document with information about activities, transportation and more things about La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. Also we can help you plan your tours in La Fortuna with the best rates, just let us know what you have on your mind and we will help you creating an itinerary during your stay.

Also we can help you arrange Costa Rican meal at La Casa de La Tortilla (Just steps away from your house), which is located by the property and Guiselle and Antonio will be glad to host you and prepare the bests Costa Rican meals, in their house they have a little restaurant and a typical Costa Rican kitchen where they serve the meals, once you book you can ask for the menu and in case you want we can get you private chef services in the house.

Beautiful La Fortuna Vacation

The house was perfect for our extended family of 8. The view of the volcano from the pool was beautiful. The house was well stocked. The concierge service was amazing. This location was close to town and also close to the sites. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed here with a group of 8 adults. Great location that was a quick drive to town and a short trip to most popular locations in the area. Gated property that felt safe the entire time we were there.

Quiet/private home close to downtown

We had a great stay at Villa Marcella. The home and yard was very spacious and it felt very private and safe. It had a big kitchen & the complimentary coffee was very nice :) the hosts were super helpful with planning activities. I would come back again!

Perfect home base in La Fortuna!

We really enjoyed the outdoor space at this home! The pool and porch area were very well maintained and a great place to relax after hiking around Arenal and and rafting the Baldi. There's also a small yard for kids to play. We would definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal stay for our group of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). Everything was really clean and well appointed. We had a great time using the pool. We also took advantage of their tour service every day of our visit and everything went off without a hitch. Grocery store is about a 10 minute walk away and there are a couple restaurants about 5-10 minute walk.

Location is close to downtown and many attractions. House was clean, and had everything you needed. Management company stays in touch and very helpful for any bookings.

This house was an awesome home base for our time in La Fortuna. We had 2 families traveling together and there was plenty of space. Kids loved the pool. House was a short drive from down town. Great place and would stay again.

Perfect house for our needs and great, central location. Quiet, secure neighborhood. Beautiful yard. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. Property management was also able to book all our excursions at a great price.

Family and Friends trip to Costa Rica

We loved staying in this home . It was a perfect location to get to all of our activities, close to restaurants. The pool was wonderful and the kitchen gave us the option to cook a nice breakfast a couple of mornings. The only suggestion I have is that the steps going into the pool were a little slippery and one of our friends actually slipped going into the pool. It might be great to add a hand rail. Overall, we absolutely loved our time in Costa Rica!

Family travel

Great location-easy walk into town or $2 dollar cab ride. Cabs quickly responsive and easy. Home meticulous and spacious for large group. Can say enough about House of Tours (owners). BEST service and instant communication. Met all our needs at rental and transportation. They truly do get best prices Highly recommend!!

Pura Vida Villa

We really enjoyed the house and location, and had a fantastic week of high adventure and sightseeing. The Home Vacation folks were quick to answer questions and provide useful information. They also arranged all our activities with terrific tours and guides. There’s something for everybody in La Fortuna. Pura Vida!

Wonderful experience in La Fortuna!

Lovely home, with convenient access to in town La Fortuna. Had a fun time rafting, climbing Arenal, and enjoying hot springs! Office communication was excellent and friendly. Only suggestion is for office to make sure AC is at a more comfortable temperature before arrival.

Great house, great location

We had a group of 7 (parents, 4 boys, and family friend who is 70). We loved this house. It was close to everything and walkable to some restaurants. The pool was great and the grounds were lovely- even had a view of Arenal when it was clear. There were hummingbirds galore, which wr loved watching in the mornings while having coffee by the pool. The kitchen was well-appointed and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Overall, I highly recommended and would definitely stay again!!

Great house in La Fortuna

We loved this place. Clean and nicely updated. Very comfortable. Close to town but a long walk. The company that does the property management was great. Very responsive to questions and set us up on a number of adventures. Best was the safari float with Carlos as our guide- wonderful!!!

Spacious and well equipped property in La Fortuna

We stayed here for four nights while in La Fortuna. The check in process was to go to their office in town and then a representative takes you to the property and explains everything. This process was smooth and the rep was very friendly. The place is fantastic, well maintained and extremely clean. We could not have asked for a better place. The location is great, about a 90 second drive into “downtown”. I would highly recommend this place.

Great house, helpful hosts and beautiful location

Since this was the first vacation for us with our 7 month old baby, we knew we needed a place that was clean, safe, an easy commute to main attractions and nice enough to enjoy on its own. And this property knocked it out of the park! The house itself was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we needed- crib and highchair included. The pool and patio area is just as pictured- great landscaping and the view of Arenal Volcano is spectacular. Finally, Allen was very helpful throughout our entire stay. He even helped us arrange for pizza delivery on our last night.

Amazing Stay!

We stayed at this property in February and it is just as pictured. Plenty of room for our family of five (kids ages 4-13) and very clean and spacious. Location very convenient to all La Fortuna has to offer and the view of the volcano on a clear day is gorgeous! But the absolute best part was how well Eder and Allen took care of us. Due to flight delays we arrived very late and Eder stayed in contact with us, waited and helped direct us to the property. He really went above and beyond for us. Every day they helped arrange tours and activities for our whole family and their restaurant recommendations were spot on! Overall we had a wonderful stay!
