Great Location Great Hosts

Have just returned from a two-week stay in La Flotte. The house is brilliantly located near the harbour but is quiet. Alain and Marie-Christine were great, from initial communication to checking in, all was seamless. The house is well-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer and was very clean. There is a private parking space behind the house but if you have a large car you might find it difficult - after the initial unloading of cases we moved to a public parking lot nearby which wasn't a problem for us. Merci Alain and Marie-Christine, we hope to return!

Excellent host, extremely detailed check in with all the information needed for our stay. Also provided us with some local knowledge that led to us being able to see one of the best fireworks displays ever! The house was conveniently located near shops and market. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Location could have not been better. We were two small families with two young children, the lay out of the house was perfect- space for them to play in a safe location. There was also a bath with was great for the children. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay!! I look forward to our return!

Nous avons passé une semaine super dans cette magnifique maison rustique dans le centre de La Flotte. Tout est prévu, très propre, beaucoup d'espace, une terrace ensoleilé et calme, tout près de magasins, du marché, du port, les popriétaires sont très sympathiques et sont tres organisés et correctes. Two weeks in Lem House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lem House. The location was perfect as it was a very quiet street but only a short walk to the market, bars and restaurants, supermarket and the beach. The accommodation was spacious, very clean with everything we needed and the courtyard was a lovely area to relax in. Our hosts were very helpful and provided us with lots of information on La Flotte and Ile de Re. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope we have the opportunity to return in the future.

Maison pratique et bien située

Située en plein centre d'un des villages les plus vivants de l'île, la maison est cependant calme et organisée pour passer des vacances sans se poser de question d'intendance même pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis (équipement très complet, 2 salles de bains, espace de vie disponible, grande cour, mobilier d'extérieur, etc.). On y vit comme c'est souvent recommandé en plein été : prendre sa voiture le moins souvent possible, faire ses courses à pieds et aller à la plage à pied aussi ou en vélo par exemple. Il y a bien sûr un ou deux bémols mais sans grande importance pour une location de vacances.

Excellent location on beautiful Ile de Re

The Ile de Re is a wonderful place to holiday with family, and La Flotte is a pretty seaside town with picturesque alleys, full of hollyhocks, roses and mimosas. It does have a beautiful port area and a small beach, good sand, however for swimming, at low tide it can be a little muddy and covered in seaweed, the best beaches are a short bike ride or trip on the free electric bus that does a circular route between the capital St Martin, La Flotte, St Maries, and Le Bois en Re ( beaches). Bikes can be hired everywhere and our host had negotiated a 20%discount with Cycloland, well worth it! As a party of 7 from.19 to seventy we all thoroughly enjoyed all the island has to offer. The Lem House was ready for our arrival and spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped kitchen, though the hob did seem to be a law unto itself! There were even buckets and spades etc for families with small children. The parking space was a valuable asset, though once in, you stayed put as it was nigh on impossible to navigate in and out without the expert eye of the host who had the twists and turns down to a T! The cottage is only a 3 minute walk to the town where there is a fabulous Patisserie, small express supermarket and every morning fantastic market. Despite this the cottage was in a quiet street and received very little noise. The flower filled courtyard was perfect for eating al fresco, sunbathing and chilling in.general. The bedrooms are very small and the twin beds proved to be very creaky and a little uncomfortable. The decor is a little dated, but as we were out in the island most.of the time it wasn't important. We thought the cost of linen /towel hire to be very high but this is a premium area so perhaps to be expected. All in all, had a fantastic stay, thank you

Idéalement située à 2 pas du charmant centre ville ,cette maison très fonctionnelle et très propre correspond tout à fait à des vacanciers soucieux d'utiliser le moins possible la voiture et de se déplacer à vélo. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et arrangeants. Bref , que du bonheur et le petit port de La Flotte est si joli. Merci à Mme et Mr Remigereau pour leur sympathique accueil.
