An honest review from someone who doesn't usually go to All-Inclusive. We spent over Easter with three kids (7,5,4) and had a blast. The water slides were a huge hit; the beach was very nice, and kids played in the waves and boogie-boarded. The pools were also very nice, and you had choices between the "louder pool" and the calmer one. There were other activities for the kids to do throughout the day, which was nice. The staff was great; I only had positive experiences with all of them. The room was good and did the job. The food was iffy at times. Breakfast was OK with all the staples. The lunch at Labamba was burgers and hotdogs. It was not ideal for parents, but the kids liked it. We were lucky to have dinner most nights at the Ala-cart restaurants, which were perfect. We didn't have food for two nights, and it was not good. There was nothing for kids to eat at seafood night, and sometimes, the food was not edible. We knew this going in. The drinks were great as well, and there was a good selection. Overall, this place is excellent for the price; kids had so much fun, as did adults. If you don't get reservations at the restaurants, consider a short cab to many restaurants around.

Food was just okay overall. Kids playground and pool could’ve been more fun. Childcare was not as good as other resorts I’ve been to.

Armony is lovely, a great place to unwind. This is a smaller resort with class. The activities were excellent ie: Watsu, yoga etc. they have some unique experiences worth trying. The spa has some unique experiences as well, I highly recommend trying one. Many pools, very clean, pool side service excellent. Beach is also lovely, and the sand is not rocks like other parts of PV. ( plus) Friendly and respectful staff. My only negative feedback is the lobby bar menu does not clarify what’s included in all inclusive drinks and what is extra. They need to amend menus to indicate top shelf/ extra costs may apply ie tequila. Also they constantly chase you down to sign $0 bills. They print paper and have you sign your name and room number, not the norm for all inclusive members and a waste of paper and staffs time. Your braclet and room number should be enough to confirm you are all inclusive ( not the euro plan). Aside from that small annoyance -great resort.

We just returned from Marival Emotions and we had the best time!!! I am not sure where all the bad reviews come from?? We were there for 7 nights on an all inclusive package. It was my husband, myself and our 2 boys aged 2.5 and 5. We arrived at the resort at noon and our room was not ready but we were able to take FULL advantage of all the amenities. Upon arrival we realized we left one of our bags in the shuttle and the gentleman at the front handling the luggage was beyond helpful in helping us get it back! Check in was easy, no lines and we got our room at 3pm as promised. We were never hassled for a time share presentation. We had met another couple that was approached for the presentation and they said it was actually really great. They had breakfast, drinks and the staff watched their 2 little kids (they could see them on the other side of the glass wall) as they were given the presentation. They also rec’d free passes to swim with the dolphins. After hearing this I wish we were approached! The majority of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was great. Yes some items on the buffet were not piping hot but we never had cold food. So many items to choose from and they switched it out everyday. Breakfast had fresh cold pressed juices, omelet station, pancake, waffle and crepe station (The would even make fresh french toast if you asked). Property was very clean and modern. Very happy with our stay! Africa was wonderful for the water aerobics, July was a great pool side server who was quick and always happy, and the kids club crew were all amazing!! They made our kids trip so much more fulfilling and exciting. Thank you all!
