Beautiful place. Disappointing accueil.
I showed up at 6:20 pm since stated check in was supposed to be 5-7 pm. The attendant could not confirm the reservation at first. Then spoke with a colleague and found the reservation, but said the room wasn’t ready. After presenting my credit card and ID, I was told the room was ready. The gentleman showed me a property map and highlighted in yellow the place I had reserved. Each place was numbered. The number for mine was 26. After driving around for 25 minutes and not finding 26, I returned to the office. A young lady there explained that 26 was really #1. What the first attendant forgot to tell me was that there was additional information on the other side of the map matching property numbers to map numbers. That was a weak start.
At 8 pm, I walked to the on-site restaurant and waited to be seated. After 10 minutes, I seated myself at the counter. Another 15 minutes passed before I was handed a menu.
However attractive the overall setting may be, the inadequacies of the welcome and restaurant service add up to my suggestion that those would think about coming here consider alternatives provided by others who actually care about their guests. Those who work here could care less.
