"Incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms (though nowhere at all to hang your towels and no almost no space around the sink). Modern building in the absolute centre of Bayahibe. Lovely breakfast and venue for breakfast, right on the water. The pool was closed for renovations and we were never informed, which was disappointing. But they did arrange transport to their sister hotel in Dominicus with a pool, at least."

"Extraordinary location and one of the best beaches I've been to in my life! 100% free of seaweed year-round, great food and great amenities. Food is very good, but restaurants work without reservations, so wait times are high at dinner. We stayed as a family and had an amazing time at Dreams Dominicus. Staff goes above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable, and they succeed greatly at it: Nicky from entertainment, Richard in the fitness center and Tony out in the beach were always available and accomodating. Special shootout to our Expedia concierge, Merihan: she's been on top of us through the entire stay making sure we had everything we needed. It was an unexpected perk, but her great work made me realize I wouldn't go to Dominicana through any other agency, so kudos to her!"

"Hodelpa is a nice place with great staff. All inclusive is not at the level of others, but you are not paying a huge All Inclucive fee either. It is not all day eat and drink. The price reflects this. It is very adequate for anybody not wanting to worry about eat and drinks. We were in a group of about 25 people and everyone was satisfied with what you get for the price paid. As I stated earlier the staff is great. Hodelpa is an old Embassy Suites. So if you have ever been to one of those you should understand both the building and room layout. I won't say it is a negative, but they do have music and some kind of entertainment that goes until about 11pm each night. Depending on where your room is and if you want to go to sleep before that time, you may be bothered. We just accepted it and figured it is the Dominican way. They like to have a good time. The Hotel is set within a private residental community. It is quiet and safe. Once again the staff were GREAT."

"We enjoyed our 1st stay in Bayahibe at his resort. The property was beautiful and the saltwater pools by the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. Food was okay. I have several allergies to food so my choices were limited. Today was our last day and we finally saw a sigh that said we coupd have talked with the chefs about allergies and food. I will know next time."
