"Villa Appiani is at a great location to get to center of Florence without being right in the center of it. It's a quite location where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and they have a great resturant. Also they provide shuttle service to the entrance of Florence at no extra cost. "Great Staff; friendly and efficient. Great Breakfast with a tasty selection of Italian cold cuts and pastry, freshly made scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, etc. Great coffee machine. Only drawback while the facilities are very nice and well maintained, there isn't much going on outside within walking distance. You need a car to get to shopping and restaurants. The Hotel / Residence doesn't offer any dining facilities. The rooms however are equipped with Microwave and Refrigerator. "

The property is absolutely stunning, rooms are no fuss exactly what you need and the restaurant on site is absolutely charming and delicious. Location was perfect for us as it was close to the activities (wedding ) and close enough to Lecco for shopping, ferries etc. We did have a car and it was perfect to come and go during our trip.
