"An unusual hotel in many ways. It’s a beautiful building, although the decor felt a little over-engineered. The gym is in a shocking state, and the gardens are sadly neglected. That said, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. So, a bit of a mixed bag overall, but despite the shortcomings, we still really enjoyed our stay!"

"When I asked for a/c, I never thought it would be so precious as it is like a furnace out there. The room is as clean as it can be and the materials used to renovate this room are excellent. So are the beddings. Very close to bakers, restaurants etc. I must admit that travelling is alone makes it kind of scary when I go to the restaurant and back at night. But this place is like a little oasis. Thanks to the owners!"

" I booked a twin room for myself and my son and we had a lovely meal the evening we arrived. We only had coffee in the morning before departing. My only complaint would be that the beds are suitable for children but not so much for adults. Wider quilts that cover you and hang over the bed further would have made it a more comfortable nights sleep, especially for my son who is tall and of larger build, plus extra pillows in the wardrobe for those who require them would have been appreciated. This was our only disappointment. Otherwise we were very pleased with the food and service. "
