Great Party Venue

Had a great birthday with friends and family at La ferme. Mark offered us use of the function room for my birthday night, and the facilities were superb. Everyone had a great time., and the weather was also on our side so we were able to also make use of the BBQ and the pool facilities the next day. Mark was very generous ensuring we had everything we needed to make it a very special occasion. Certainly a birthday to remember. Hope to be back for the 40th !! Vanessa.

Super séjour au calme !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis (4 familles). La maison est très saine et très bien équipée pour un grand groupe et avec plein de jeux et activités. Elle est au calme et les vues sont magnifiques. La piscine est très agréable. Nous n’avions en revanche pas vu que le spa et la salle de cinéma étaient à réserver et en avance.

Très bon week-end

Nous avons fêté mon anniversaire sur 2 jours. Mark nous a très bien reçu. La ferme est très sympa, je ne vois rien à dire à part "top". Mention spéciale à la piscine et à la terrasse extérieure abritée qui nous ont permis de vivre ces journées à l'extérieur. Merci à Dominique, traiteur que nous a conseillé Mark. A louer les yeux fermés

Séjour au grand calme dans une agréable maison

Les plus : Environnement splendide, aménagements complets, confort optimum. Les moins : lave-vaisselle défaillants. A défaut d'état des lieux faire un inventaire minutieux pour éviter les mauvaises surprises.

Belle demeure en Ariège.

Maison bien équipée. Extérieurs très agréable. Nous regrettons un accueil trop axés sur les interdictions. Par ailleurs l’annonce ne stipule pas que les propriétaires vivent sur place. Nous avons malgré cela pu profiter pleinement de notre week-end sans aucun problème.

Nice villa, but in need of updating and misleading profile

My family and I enjoyed our holiday together however we were disappointed with some aspects of the villa, which with more care and attention could have been amazing, but unfortunately it is in serious need of updating, and a decent airing as parts of it smelled quite strongly of damp. On the plus side, the swimming pool was great, nice and clean and has a safety alarm; we enjoyed the pool table in the evenings; a local lady Natalie catered for us the first night and the food/menu was great, highly recommended; the underground River about 40 mins away was a brilliant excursion for the day; Mark kindly did a shop for us at our request before we arrived; and responded to issues as well as he could. The negatives were: The main photo of the house in the profile is actually Mark's place, the rental part is the section off to the right; the large 'movie' room space in the pics is also in Mark's house and although he offered for us to use it, we weren't comfortable asking to enter his house to do so; one of the double rooms was separate from the rest of the house; the ping pong table/games room is actually in what is used as a garage; the room with 4-5 single beds pictured (which we had earmarked for the children) has several windows at floor height with no locks/safety bars so we could not use this room; the dishwashers were old and problematic and need replacing (which Mark himself said); the kitchen was disorganised and one the the cupboard doors fell off; one of the showers upstairs caused a leak downstairs in the kitchen near the electrics which needs a serious look at for safety if nothing else; the kitchen could also do with some kind of electric fly killer as the flies were relentless in the heat; no hand soap or hand towels were provided in any of the bathrooms which we would have expected; as the villa has no air conditioning, fans in the rooms would have been welcome as the heat was stifling; there was no tennis court that we could see; nor bikes to borrow as per profile.

Prachtige hoeve in een rustige omgeving

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad samen met onze familie en vrienden. Deze locatie is perfect voor een grote groep. De hoeve biedt voldoende privacy door de vele kamers en badkamers. Tevens is het een goede uitvalsbasis voor een daguitstap naar Lourdes of Andorra bvb en nadien kan je nog tot rust komen aan het zwembad. Op het overdekte terras hebben wij mooie momenten beleefd en meerdere malen de barbecue gebruikt. De gastheer, Mark, was zeer joviaal en heel subtiel aanwezig. In de buurt waren er enkele gezellige restaurantjes, waar we lekker hebben gegeten. Kortom, deze hoeve is een echte aanrader voor grote families!

Rien à dire c'est parfait !!

Nous sommes venus pour 4 jours en famille fêter Noel !! Les propriétaires du site sont discrets et toujours disponibles. Le site est agréable et super bien équipé. Sain et très propre. Venez les yeux fermés !!

Absolument parfait

Nous avons loué la maison pour feter mes quarante ans. Tout a été parfait. Les chambres sont nombreuses, chaleureuses et joliment décorées. La cuisine est grande, fonctionnelle, il y a possibilite de cuisiner pour plusieurs dizaines de personnes. L'endroit est confortable et parfaitement entretenu. Coté jardin, c'est l'ideal et parfaitement en adequation avec l'annonce. Bref, je recommande vivement, surtout qu'a ce prix la, il est impossible de trouver aussi bien.

Très bon séjour

Gîte de groupe à recommander. Nous avons fêté nos 30 ans avec nos amis et familles à la ferme plate. Tout s'est très bien passé et ce moment restera inoubliable. Étant donné le temps moyen, Mark nous a proposé de faire la fête dans la salle supplémentaire pour quelques euros de plus ce qui nous a bien rendu service. Le gîte est vraiment spacieux et très bien équipé pour un groupe. Il y a de quoi se divertir billard, ping pong, pétanque et piscine sécurisée (barrière + alarme) ce qui est vraiment très rassurant avec des jeunes enfants. L'espace pour manger à l'extérieur est très agréable pour faire des barbecues ou tout simplement passer des bons moments! Bien que le propriétaire soit sur place n'est pas gênant, Mark est une personne très discrète et disponible en cas de besoin. Le site est vraiment agréable et reposant. A réserver les yeux fermés!

Wonderful relaxing holiday

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday in this lovely spacious gite with extensive grounds and a gorgeous swimming pool. Shared with two other families – plenty of room for all of us. We all enjoyed time by the swimming pool and eating in the fabulous outdoor area which offered plenty of shade when we needed it. With a supermarket just up the road it was easy to keep stocked up on beer, wine and other essentials! The gite is ideally located for sightseeing but also a great place to just chill out. Mark was always available to help if we had any problems and offer suggestions of local attractions to visit. Our favourites were the underground river – travelling on a boat through the caves and Sequoia Vertigo – a tree top high wire adventure. We had a barbeque most evenings and it was great to turn the music up with no worry of disturbing any neighbours. We played table tennis and had darts and pool tournaments. All in all a brilliant holiday... already looking forward to next time. We returned to the U.K. totally refreshed and relaxed. Thank you so much Mark for helping us to achieve this.

Relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

Thank you for a truly wonderful and relaxing holiday. All of us, aged 2-54, had a lovely time using the gite to relax in and as a base to explore the surrounding area. There was so much to keep us all entertained. The gite and gardens are beautifully kept and everybody was comfortable there. We shall definitely be returning and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Tour de France - here we come!!

Found this Gite travelling across France on a cycling holiday with a group of cycling enthusiasts. Perfectly placed to go exploring the Ariege on many wonderful cycling routes. The accommodation was excellent for our needs and we were able to relax in the peace and quiet of this wonderful renovated Farmhouse of an evening playing pool, ping pong and generally having a very chilled time. Would recommend to any cycling groups to look this place up and use as a base for exploring. Hope to return again – next time with a larger group. Addison.

Wonderfully Peaceful

Great place to stay if you need to take yourself away from everything, but still with lots to see and do. My family had a great time relaxing by the pool, having meals together in the Farmhouse kitchen or outside in the Alfresco area. The children were never bored either – having loads of secure space to run around in and explore with games, pool, ping pong and the use of Marks wonderful cinema room to watch a DVD on our only wet day in the week. The pool was cleaned daily by Mark , who was discreetly available should we have needed anything . We went for some lovely walks & used the bikes to go for rides - it was certainly a break for us all – Thankyou – would recommend to anyone I know. Jodie

grosse déception

Très déçue par cette maison, surtout au vu des autres appréciations. Nous avons trouvé une maison plutôt sale et avec un équipement en mauvais état. Déception aussi par rapport aux photos et au descriptif : l'une des chambres est totalement séparée de la maison, donc inutilisable si vous souhaitez être avec les autres, et en particulier les enfants. De plus ce n'est pas tout le gîte en photo qui est loué, mais seulement une partie (à droite), le reste est occupé par le propriétaire qui est présent sur place. Nous avons aussi eu un accueil très froid. La caution nous a été demandée à peine descendus de la voiture, et avant même d'avoir visité le gîte. Par contre le propriétaire a refusé de nous la rendre à notre départ. Nous avons du la réclamer plusieurs fois pour la récupérer. De plus, les draps n'étaient même pas mis. A nous de nous débrouiller en arrivant.

Belle et grande maison.

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agraébles dans la ferme de Mark. Celle ci est idéalement située avec une vue magnifique sur les alentours. Le temps n'a pas toujours été au rendez-vous mais l'organisation de la maison et les différents équipements mis à notre disposition (billard, table extérieure abritée,...) nous ont permis de nous divertir. La piscine est sécurisée pour les petits enfants et la maison est fonctionnelle et très bien agencée pour un grand groupe, nous n'avons pas eu l'impression de nous marcher dessus. Mark est de plus très disponible et s'assure que le séjour se passe dans les meilleurs conditions.

Gîte loué un week end

Superbe gîte ! Très bien rénové (bravo Mark) ! En famille ou entre amis, il y a de la place assurée pour tout le monde ! Une grande maison avec beaucoup de couchages, et un jardin immense avec piscine très agréable ! Le propriétaire, Mark, est très sympathique, discret mais disponible à n'importe quel moment si vous avez besoin de lui. Il nous a même proposé de nous preter la grande salle de fête (en supplément normalement) à cause d'un gros orage qui s'est abattu sur notre repas ! L'été, la maison est tout de même fraîche, et la piscine à bonne température. La terrasse permet de manger à l'ombre avec une vue superbe, avec même un barbecue disponible. L'espace, les salles de bains et surtout l'eau chaude ne manquent pas non plus, même pour une grande famille (nous étions une vingtaine). La cuisine ne manque de rien non plus, elle est bien équipée. Le gîte correspond tout a fait à cette annonce, si ce n'est mieux ! Un grand merci pour ce super week-end !

Génial!!!!!

Super maison de vacances. Idéal pour grande famille où vacances entre amis. Beaucoup d'espace, on ne s'y sent pas à l'étroit, la maison est très bien chauffée, l'eau chaude à volonté. Cuisine bien aménagé, propre, avec un électroménager largement suffisant pour 22 personnes. La description du lieu correspond tout à fait à l'annonce. Le propriétaire est sympathique et disponible au téléphone. Je recommanderai la maison à un ami, sans problèmes. On a fait des randonnées à cheval, du ski, de la marche... Tout a été parfait...

Maison magnifique, beaucoup d'espace. Jardin immense, très bien entretenu. Piscine très agréable, cloturée et fleurie! Grande terrasse ombragée, permettant de manger en extérieur à tout heure Propriétaire disponible si besoin mais très discret. Idéal pour de grandes familles avec enfants (3 frigos, congel ...) A proximité: acrobranche, rivière souterraine (à voir) ...
