  • Have the whole Kyoto traditional townhouse by the day for up to 9 people. Unlike a Ryokan there are no rules like having to be back by a certain time of night. Instead, enjoy the space and freedom of having an entire house to yourself.

    Komachiya is a thoroughly authentic Kyoto-style house, with traditional and antique effects, wood, plaster and tatami interior, 2-storeys with large tatami sleeping and living rooms, full-facililty kitchen, separate bathroom and toilets, exquisite exterior garden.

    Komachiya is located inside a local shopping arcade. Buy ingredients just outside your front door, then bring them home and throw them in a nabe hotpot. World famous Gion area, Kiyomizudera and Nanzenji are all within easy walking distance. For sightseeing, nightlife, restaurants and shopping, you will not find a better location!
