Thank you Peter for you comment, "Having holidayed in the Highlands for 50 years in rented accommodation Tigh-na-Camus rates as one of the best" That was really lovely to read. We had a lot of interesting correspondence with Peter prior to their arrival due to storm Babet and the severe flooding down south which meant they couldn't arrive until later. Fortunately for them we ourselves were due to be in Tigh-na-Camus the following week for a wedding. We delayed our own trip to allow them the possibility of some extra days at the end of their holiday. Thank you for leaving Tigh-na-Camus so tidy for us, which was much appreciated and hopefully we will see you again in the sunroom enjoying the view.

We can't guarantee the weather as we are in the Highlands and the west coast but at least you will be comfy & warm in Tigh-na-Camus and the sunroom is just the spot to sit in if you do get rain

Jackie thank you so much for how you left Tigh-na-Camus, hard to believe that you had dogs! I am so glad that you got to see so much wildlife as it is hit and miss. I am still looking for the dolphins but did hear recently a whale blowing one night late as they do now come into the bay. Thank you for your great description of Tigh-na-Camus as we really do try our best to make it as clean and comfortable as possible. We hope to see you back again soon with your dogs..

Nancy, thank you so much for your very kind words about Tigh-na-Camus and I am really glad that you appreciated the kitchen as well. It is my own personal pet hate in holiday accommodation when you have a poorly stocked kitchen. It is great to go out for meals but equally after a long walk or touring all day its lovely to be able to stay in and relax and with the extra large dining room in Tigh-na-Camus you have a bit more space to sit around the table to chat & unwind after your day.

I was so pleased to read that Pauline and her sister had such a good week after their nightmare journey to TnC due to a horrendous accident which closed the road to all traffic. I am still looking for the dolphins too but my neighbour watched them for over twenty minutes playing in the bay! But we did see the otter who uses the burn next to us to get to the sea A very big thank you to Pauline for being so kind in how she left TnC, as it was just immaculate. We hope that she will return & see the dolphins.

I am so glad that Fiona and her group had a good holiday as the weather was indeed mixed but she is correct in that sitting in the sunroom watching the waves crashing onto the shore literally across the road is fascinating. It was our pleasure to have them stay and thank you for you 5 star review, much appreciated.

It was so great to have Lynne and her party back again & so lovely to read her comments about Tigh-na-Camus as it is not a purpose built holiday house but an original Scottish house with its own unique character. We were also very pleased that they enjoyed their week in Glenelg as it is such a great place for a holiday. We also appreciated how considerate Lynne and her party were of Tigh-na-Camus and we look forward to seeing them again in the future.

We were delighted to hear that Catherine had really enjoyed her two weeks vacation. Especially after their very long wait because the original booking was made in 2019 for 2020 but due to covid was delayed until this year. So very pleased that they were not disappointed in Tigh-na-Camus, it's location & the Glenelg area as well. We would happily rent again to Catherine as Tigh-na-Camus was left in a pristine condition, which is always, VERY MUCH appreciated. We hope to see them again.

Since we bought Tigh-na-Camus and added the new extension at the back, we are constantly trying to improve it and add to it without spoiling the charm of the house. It was a pleasure to have Katherine and her party stay in Tigh-na-Camus and we would welcome them back any time.

I would like to say first a big Thank you to Chris and her family as they were exceptionally helpful and understanding as they arrived to 4 sheep in the garden. She also sent a picture where the sheep were jumping over the fence at the back of the garden which meant that i could arrange to get that fixed immediately for them. Thank you Chris also for your very positive review, we were so glad to hear that you were pleased with Tigh-na-Camus and had a relaxing holiday there. So very important at any time but after this year with Covid, we all need our holidays even more to be a good experience. We would be delighted to see Chris & her family back again in Tigh-na-Camus.

Superb weather makes Glenelg extra beautiful and you are correct, there is so much wildlife out there to see. We would be delighted if Caroline and her family come back. I personally also love sitting in the sun-room in Tigh-na-Camus watching the waves crash up against the shore in the winter, as well as listening to the power of the sea while of course staying warm and cosy!

Thank you Lynne for your very positive review. We get regular feedback that Tigh-na-Camus has a very special feel to it, or as Lynne said, it has a 'heart'. We are also very glad to hear that Lynne and her party had a great week in Tigh-na-Camus. We also found Lynne to be really lovely and a pleasure to deal with and hope to see them again in Tigh-na-Camus. One thing though is that the listing is correct on HomeAway. Tigh-na-Camus has only 3 bedrooms and the maximum amount of guests allowed is 6. The small room that Lynne mentioned is not large enough, 'in our opinion' to be classified as a proper bedroom, as it has no wardrobe, no chest of drawers, no chair etc.

We were very pleased that you liked the house and the location right next to the sea so much. Thank you for your 5 star review but we were so upset that you found the heaters confusing and missed the A4 explanation guide on the notice board. It is so unfortunate that our caretaker was also in bed sick with a stomach bug and it was also a shame that the heating wasn't mentioned in your call as I am 100% sure that her husband would have rushed round to help. The water pressure is indeed slightly lower in Glenelg but i always feel the softness of the highland water makes up for it. Our back gate always has a tie rope on it as we are aware of the sheep problem. Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared but a new one has already been purchased to keep the pesky sheep out. We were delighted to hear that you got a close sighting of a Golden Eagle, they really are so beautiful and BIG. Thank you again for your five star review. Kind regards Myra
