This central area offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the starting points for many activities. The general layout is linear, with properties situated along the main route, making navigation straightforward.

For couples looking for a tranquil escape with an emphasis on outdoor activities, staying in the village centre is ideal. It provides easy access to hiking trails that lead into the stunning Caucasus Mountains, allowing for scenic walks and breathtaking views. You're also close to any local shops for essentials.

Solo travellers will also find the village centre practical. It offers a sense of community within its small scale, and guesthouses are often run by local families who can provide insights into the area and its attractions.

The best time to visit Kvesheti is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and the mountain passes are fully accessible.
