This hotel was listed as a place that many westerners stay, but I didn't see any while I was there. Room smelt funny and there is a one way mirror/window in the bathroom over the tub. This window opens up and there is a crawl space behind it. It was very creepy. Also the drains would back up and the water left brown rings in the tub. When we first arrived there was no way to get in and the only person we saw was the groundskeeper who pretended not to know what we wanted. I know this because we left and came back an hour later and he knew we wanted to check in and he opened the door and got the super for us. Then the super demanded that we pay him even though we told him that we already paid by booking through Expedia. Eventually he made a phone call and apparently the funds were in order becasue he gave us our key. Another thing I didn't understand was that we had to surrender our passports for throughout the stay (6 days) which also made me nervous being out and about without a passport. Yes the room is furnished: full sized refrigerator, gas stove, couch, and bed, but you definitely get what you pay for in that this was like the cheapest place to stay in Kuwait City
