"This is an unusual property but served us well for a short visit. We booked at the last minute and our options were limited, next time I might prefer to be in the city center, but this is conveniently located next to the “Bone Church”. It would be great for a family with children, although I don’t think that we were the only childless guests."

"The room was listed with A/C and it was my main reason to book it. But it was not any A/C. We could not sleep well during hot summer night. We slept with open windows. It was loud music from nearest night club and someone was smoking and talking in front of our window. I would never stay at the place ever again."

The Sedlec Ossuary is located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints in the Czech Republic. Its origin story is a long one, beginning with an abbot in 1278 who sprinkled dirt from the Holy Land over the Sedlec cemetery. This act prompted a huge influx of people who wanted to be laid to rest there. The cemetery's popularity, as well as factors such as wars and the Black Plague, caused an excess of bodies to be delivered and buried. Skeletons were exhumed and stacked over time in the chapel beneath the church. In 1870, a woodcarver named František Rint was hired to organize the skeletons, and he created the macabre designs that now make up the ossuary. #History

"Very clean, spacious family room. We had a small kitchen which proved very useful as there aren't many places open for an evening meal (seem to be open for main meals at lunchtime) but it's very close a a really good supermarket. Helpful staff. Pretty town to explore, good brewery/restaurant close by. Easy walking distance to the train station which gets you to Kutna Hora and Prague. "
